Well, my trip ended yesterday :sad1:, but it was a fantastic trip.

I don't have much time to go into details, but I'll give a brief overview and go into detail in the next few days.

Cast of Characters;

Me- 19 years old having fun before college
my brother- 22 years old on vacation from work
my brother's gf- 20 years old meeting my family after this orlando trip
my two friends- 19 and 20 years old. One has never been to an amusement park.

We stayed at the Portofino on Club Level (Room 2693). It was the farthest down the hallway and highest up....but oh well....we were club level. We had 3 day/ 2 park tickets using a florida discount (60 dollars each). The parks were nothing short of fantastic.

My friend who has never been to an amusement park was afraid of Jaws, the Hulk, Jurassic Park, Dueling Dragons.....and every other ride there. I was laughing the entire time on every ride. I couldn't believe he freaked out on Jaws.......:rotfl:

I'll give more info later on.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your trip! I can't believe someone 19/20 has never been to an amusement park! I can't wait to hear about this!! :rotfl2:

I finally have some time to sit down and write up a trip report.

The planning stages went back to last November. I had decided on staying at the Portofino Bay Hotel as it was the only hotel at Universal Orlando that I had not stayed at. It was a club room with a price averaging at 288 per night (price was lower on the weekdays than on weekends) with a Florida discount.

I arrived at 6 pm and tried to check in. Unfortunately, they searched for my birthdate on my military ID card (which they had to ask me where it was on there), so I couldn't check into the room. My two friends who came a half hour later went to Citywalk with me and checked the restaraunts. At around 8, my brother and his girlfriend arrived in a taxi and checked us into the hotel. The room was far far far far far :snooty: far far far away from the club lounge and the main part of the hotel.

We went to the Villa Pool (the one without the kiddie slide) and spent a couple hours there. That night before bed, I asked that Spiderman wake us up at 730...I was excited about that. By the way, anyone wondering if 5 people can sleep in a deluxe room, you can. Two in each bed and one on the sofa sleeper. I was on the sofa sleeper and quite enjoyed it. Was comfortable for a sofa sleeper.

Day 1 of IOA and Universal

I was not called by Spiderman!!! Dr. Seuss called me instead!! I couldn't believe it...I wanted Spiderman! I could of at least been informed spidey was to sick to call that day....

We arrive in front of IOA at 845 and proceed to get our tickets. Well, my Credit Card didn't work (as I think I took the wrong one), but I was still able to get my tickets by going to Guest Services and giving them an ID and confirmation #). Our first ride was the Incredible Hulk Coaster ( a great way to start someone's first time to a theme park). We went on front row and my friend almost had a heart attack. He screamed like such a little girl that I couldn't even enjoy the front row....I was laughing so hard from watching him. It was just priceless....

We then made our way to Spiderman which everyone loved. My brother's g/f and my friend were amazed by the effects of the ride. Jurassic Park was next and was the favorite ride by my friend.

I have to cut this short...I'll leave with a few pictures. Sorry if this is all hard to read and not understandable.

darn....I can't post pictures because my post count is to low.......
