It mostly is - hot and humid that's why the one dusting we get of snow every couple of years brings it to a standstill

I have to disagree with Julia. ATL is no where near FL warm. Yes, we can be humid at times but it's no where near FL (or LA for that matter) humidity. I remember the first year we moved here. We came from living in Vegas. That August everyone was complaining about how humid it was and saying that it was the worst it had been in years. Bruce & I thought it was a walk in the park. We do get cold in the winters but it usually only really cold for a few days then we're back to being pleasant.

It's all what you're used to. I grew up in Louisiana & it's soooooo humid there. Every time we go back during the summer I drip buckets of sweat! I was laughing at my mom today telling me how cold it was & it was 50 degrees there!

I'm looking forward to our 60 degree weather on Wednesday!

I am in Lawrenceville, Ga and we've got about 3 inches of snow! The kids went crazy, of course, because we never get any snow. INSTEAD OF A SNOWMAN, THEY MADE A SNOW MICKEY!! I'm serious! I think I saw someone else on the cruise from L'ville. Is that right?

Seems like Leigh & Julia got way more snow than we did. My girls went out & built a very small snowman. The girls were soaking wet when they came in.

That's like we are. It could be 85 degrees today, and 2 weeks from now, we might get snow. Get it every couple of years.

Disneyelf10- Your niece will have to join up with Kaylah. She is 16 going on 20 (well sometimes, then she is 16 going on 10.) I'm sure all the teens will meet & form a bond. There seems to be a lot more teens around than I'd thought there would be. Just so there's no 3 am trips to locate her. I seem to do that every cruise, and when I find them, they are just sitting somewhere just talking. But as a mom, it is my job to worry about them.

We have a June 20th Carnival Freedom cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. I just booked the 5 teens on the Tortola Dolphin Discovery for the Royal Swim.. They are all excited about that.

Yep...and he stood and waved goodbye to us as we sailed out. The only sailaway "party" where I was kneeling on the deck crying. I hated leaving him behind.
