May 23, 2009 (5/23/09) E. Caribbean w/Tortola

we have a question what are all these web cam links being posted. how do you access all the wdw links thanks... Mike

A few people here on the Dis have put up "LIVE" Cams and leave it streaming day/night so we can get a fix of Disney!! Previously it was at the Boardwalk and you could watch the boats go back and forth! Now there is a good view of illuminations , and teh AKL you can see the animals!!

You just click on the links and they should appear. If you want to chat, you need to sign in/sign up.

The links posted above have been changed...

Click below for the Boardwalk cam...it will be hard to see right now...it is very bright...but the person doing this pointed the cam UP high so we can all see Illuminations tonight!!

Right now I'm watching the AKL one and the CM are putting out food! I saw a girrafe a few minutes ago!

OK, with under a year to go, here is a graphic for this cruise:

(Inclusion of Disney characters means no cafepress shirts. but it'll work for signatures if anyone likes it - made a bit smaller, of course.)

I love it!! It's great!! I'll add it onto our cruise web page this weekend!!! Thanks for doing that! :thumbsup2

YEAH!!!
We just booked for this cruise yesterday and we can't wait for the year to go by so we can sail!! :cool1: This will be our first Disney cruise (we did a 3 day out of Tampa in 2001 with our then 1 year old -- so we don't think that one counts). We are in room 2130. Here's our crew: Sebrett (38), Brian (38), Emily (8), and Logan (6).

Hoping to meet some great DIS people and get involved in all the fun of planning.

My ds bday was on Saturday...my "baby" turned 13:scared1:  I can't believe it. But he still has his love of Disney!!! We bought him the DCL Passporter so he could have his own (he has the paperback version). So now he can highlight anything he wants...and I'm hoping that will help keep him reading this summer;)

We told him yesterday that we were going to WDW in December! (I'm surprised I kept it a secret that long!!) He was happy to be going and excited about MVMCP!! He LOVES that!! I'm still keeping where we are staying a secret until we get there!! (AKV). HE thinks we are staying at Pop Century!! I asked him if he could stay at any resort if we won the lottery where would he want to stay. His answer...AKL!! :cloud9: Can't wait to surprise him with that!!

Welcome to the cruise! :welcome:

Is your Logan a boy or a girl? I know it's typically a boys name but do know 1 girl named Logan too. We have 2 DDs - our Emily will be 8 (almost 9) and Ashley will be 6.5.

Hey Ang!

We just got home from WDW last night. Another great trip! Sorry we didn't meet up with you. I'm sure your family had a wonderful time. :cloud9:

Welcome mommybunnyof2! Glad you & your family will be joining us! :welcome:

Heather - sad that our kids eventually have to become teens! Glad DS hasn't lost that Disney spirit! Happy to hear you'll be at AKV in December! What a great surprise for your son! :thumbsup2

Hey Laura! Sorry we missed you too. I did keep looking for you. How was Spirit Air?

We had a nice trip & really loved SSR. It was a very quiet resort ... that part I loved!

We didn't "officially" get a dream but did unofficially. We were at The Magic Kingdom on Monday (our 1st park day). We were there for park opening and were able to do all of the rides in FantasyLand by 10:00. We then road Goofy's Barnstormer probably 5 times in a row with no wait. We then headed to Buzz Lightyear & grabbed a fast pass. We rode Carousel of Progress while we waited. Somewhere in there I got a fast passes for Space Mountain. We went to ride Buzz. The people in line behind us had the Dream Fastpasses. I asked if they were just in the right place at the right time. They said that they were. I then turned to move in line. The lady then said that they were leaving after they rode Buzz & that we could have their remaining passes. They had only used Space Mountain & Buzz Lightyear. They were only 3 people but I guess were give 4 passes. I was so excited. This was at about 11:30 AM! I kept thanking them over & over again! We were spoiled that day. We got to ride almost everything in The Magic Kingdom with not one wait. The rest of the week we did what we could & didn't sweat it. I still didn't get to ride Soarin' though. That makes 2 years in a row that I miss out on it! We'll just have to go back.

I went check at checkout time to verify the # of park days that we have left. We still have 3 days. I then found out that we have 7 pluses (or more or fun or whatever it's called). I thought that when I bought our 10-day tickets that we got 4 pluses. For some reason we got 10!

DH's sister called us during the week last week. She was looking in to a cruise out of New Orleans for his whole family (mom, sisters, brother & all kids). So, we're taking 2 cruises next summer! We'll do this cruise then a 4-night Carnival out of New Orleans on June 18. The best part is that his sister is springing for the cost of that cruise! She has us booked in a suite! I called her tonight to tell her that was not necessary & that we'd be ok with a porthole room. She siad that this was her treat. :worship:

Love it!!! It really makes me ready to go, I had actually considered canceling this one, but I just can't.

Thanks for all the Welcome Aboards :sail:
We are very excited. :cool1:
Yes, our Logan is a boy. I never realized that Logan could be considered a girls name until he was about 3 or so. :confused3
Thanks for adding us to THE LIST Goofygal. We plan on going over for MVMCP in early December. We love the low crowds and all the great Christmas decorations at that time of year. :santa:

Welcome Bunny, and bump back to page 1. We're a late forties couple with two teen boys from the sunny state of Arizona.

Wow...I've missed alot;) I'm glad you guys had fun at Disney!!! And how cool to get a "Dream" even indirectly!! :thumbsup2

I've been busy with bdays and fathers day and just dealing with house work and paper work. (and I was totally addicted to the Dis Live cams...so sad to see them done and over with now:( )

I am updating the cruise web page. (i may move some things around during the next week or so). I have updated the cruise list. If I have missed anything just let me know...I've been a slacker the past few weeks and then misplaced the paper I had everything on that I needed to update.

wmjivey, great pic from Hawaii!! I've always wanted to go there!
