Have to ask - how many of you are dressing up? My DH and I aren't (although my girls are dying to turn their DD into Jack Sparrow! pirate: ) Our girls are going to be pirate princesses - DDs are 16 and 11 yr. and we're bringing oldest daughter's BF :dance3: I love the fact that our teenagers still love the the whole princess thing - they even dress-up for CRT every year! princess:

DH will probably wear his "Dead Men Tell No Tales" t-shirt, and his pirate-style bandana on his head. DAunt and I will probably just wear tiaras or something. LOL I actually have a pink shirt with rhinestones and the stones form the outline of a skull and crossbones. I bought it a couple of years ago at Disney World. I might wear that to the party, with a tiara. princess:

DS and I are going too! :cool1: It will be our first time as well as our first trip to WDW. I want to dress my son up and am looking into costumes for him now. I looked on Disney shopping and did not see much. Any ideas? He is 3yrs old. For myself, I may just do a tiara and a rhinestone princess T shirt.

I attended the P&P party last Aug. It was fabulous. The fireworks are the best I've ever seen. My girls were disppointed that they did not have costumes. Many folks did wear costumes. We will be attending the May 21st party. I have already got the E. Swan costume from Disney shopping. I will be ordering the Jasmine costume for the Princess breakfast.

The parades are a blast. The crowds are nice and small. You can jump on most rides without a long wait. Have fun!

I'm so glad you had such a good time that you're doing it again! I'd read some mixed reviews and was a little worried so I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it.
I love the Elizabeth Swan costume- your DD will be so cute! Our girls are older so we have to have everything made for them as they outgrew the princess costumes at Disney a long time ago :) We do tutus in colors of their favorite princess and then they wear their matching crowns, etc. Thinking though that we will do a "pirate princess" in black and pink for all 3 for the P&PP! princess:

If you can't find anything at Disney, check E-bay - they seem to have alot of new Disney costumes pirate: - a 3 yr. old pirate will be too adorable! :goodvibes

I have a question for those who have done this party before: We have an ADR at the Kona Cafe on the night of the party, for 6pm. I'm sure we'll arrive at the MK well after 7pm (the start time of the party). My question is, will we be missing anything by arriving an hour or so late?? Thanks :)

Just purchased our tickets! I am going to save it as a surprise. It will be our last night in the parks so it will be extra special.princess:

This will be our first P&PParty and I can't wait!!!!! My goal is to make DH and DS's matching pirate costumes, but I have no idea what I'm going to wear!

We have two options either the 21st or the 26th. I think we are leaning towards the 21st !

We have appointments at the BBB for early in the evening so I will be with one pirate and one princess. Is it almost May???????

I called today to try and get my DD into BBB but the only ressie they had was for 3:50 and we have an ADR for LTT at 4:20. DARN it !!

Hi SeaSpray,

You won't be missing to much by arriving after 7pm. But the remember, the tickets are quite $$$, so you do want to get your money's worth. If you can't change your ADR to another evening, by all means keep the ADR. But do your best to arrive as early as you can. Having the parks with a minimal crowd is something you don't want to miss!:)

Last year I had and ADR for Chef Mickey's and I arrived after 7pm. This year I have a 6pm ADR at Tony's Town Square in the MK. I want to reduce my travel time to the Party.

Have a great time!:)

BUMP BUMP ! Anyone else joining us for the party onj the 21st ?

We went on March 11th and had a blast.

Dressing up as pirates is a great idea.

Here is a photo of us in our costumes at PPP.
