Us members will just follow low points no matter where they are.

Sure, but as @CarolMN points out, there are other reasons to be there when the Fall/Winter holiday stuff is in full swing, and some Members will be willing to spend extra points on that time of year. It's a balancing act, and there is plenty of room to shift from Fall to late Spring/early Summer based on the demand observations.

I think it is kind of funny because 're-balancing' is probably impossible with DVC. Us members will just follow low points no matter where they are.

We've actually a double motive for switching from the week before Thanksgiving to the points-cheaper 2nd week in May next year. We've done FWF several times and want to try FGF for a change.

Except, since we booked, DH has been watching FGF videos and pointed out to me how bare Epcot looked without the Christmas decorations. "Look at that," he said, "No big tree. It looks naked."

Just when I thought going in early May would be our tradition henceforth.

Not like I'll mind going in November again. Call me Ms. STILL Pouting About Not Seeing the GF's Decorations 8 YEARS Ago. It was near the last to get them that year, and we had to leave the day before they went up.
