I know it's ages away but I've been thinking about possible holiday dates for a trip next year. I'm trying to be good and stick to school holidays so May half term seems the most obvious choice. However, I've just looked at French school holidays and 29th May to 1st June (the week of our May half term) is listed as the Long Ascension Weekend. Can I assume that the parks will therefore be busy on those dates? Will it have any impact on the previous few days?

Other than that how is May half term in general? What are the queues like as a rule?

Thanks!

The days before that re the French should be good as school holidays end on the 12th of May.

Those 4 days though will likely be well packed as it's one holiday nearly everyone can take, just be using a days holiday you get 4 :cool1:

Brilliant, thanks Carrie.

I've also noticed that UK holidays next Easter start a week before the French ones. Do you think the park would be relatively quiet that week?

I guess I'm just trying to work out how much park numbers are affected when just the UK are on holiday.

You should also be looking when Belgian and the NLs are on holiday as they come en masse to DLP and I often find that crowd wise it's worse than when the zone C - Paris and region are on holiday :)
