Our family is heading down on the 25th with our first day in the park on the 26th. Our friends and their two daughters, our god daughters, will be coming to for thier first trip as a family. We will be there for 5 days!! I realize that the 26th is Memorial Day, but we are hoping that since the 24 hr day is the weekend prior that it wont be TOO busy on monday. But forcasts show the rest of the days in the park should be great as far as crowds go. Anyone have any experience with this?
We fly in the 6th. We have 5 day park hoppers with the 1st day in park on the 7th, last day in park on the 11th. The 12th is a free day and fly out the 13th (get in at like 11:08pm, then a 45 minute drive home. Then I turn around have have surgery scheduled on the 15th)
we'll be there May 18-22 for our first DLR trip. Very excited, but bummed, like many of you, that several of the rides I was most looking forward to will be down. Que sera, sera, I suppose...
Question for you all: my understanding is that when POTC is down, Blue Bayou is closed. With that said, I was able to make a reservation for BB on May 18, the day we arrive. Does that mean they are expecting it to be open by then after all, or am I going to get there and not have a restaurant to eat at?
