We made our way to FantasyLand thinking we would hang around here admire the Mine Train from outside and enjoy the atmosphere. We really like the new Fantasyland! Approaching 7DMT there was a healthy amount of disappointed faces waiting. We admired this structure. Our friends husband had worked on it's concrete base construction. He has done a great job! I love that the stones that make up the mountain are larger than the other mountains. I recall reading this is to give you that feel of seeing it from a Dwarf's eye. Such detail.
A few stressed CM with clipboards were pacing the entrance. Poor souls. Then as if by Disney magic ( which comes at a price ) it opened! Wowsers! We got in that FP+ line quicker than you can say Lucky Charms are free at
Walmart ....
Thinking on my feet ( a figure of speech in my case lol ) I said to my Jo quick my lovely get a return time for the
DAS so we can ride it later. She did and as the return time was 90 minutes they gave us 70. No logic to that but I wasn't going to argue. Usually it's return time minus 10 minus. Pixie dust me 10 minutes yes please.
Soon we were at the front of the queue. My heart I have to say was beating. I did my usually dance with changing glasses ( it's dark in there) from prescription sunglasses to my prescription clear. I wanted to experience every detail!
The CM eyeballed my rollator and we took a different line. They take your mobility aid the side of the ride for your return. Holding on to Jo we waited for the next car. Squeeek...in rolls our little set of cars. That's us at the back. Cool we should really feel full force of the ride here!
Everybody in? Bars down? Oh quick hang on hat off and in the net. I lost too many hats in WDW to count!
Off we go weeeee....
Put your hands in the air like you don't care...
Oh my it's so smooth! Lots of twists and turns but not jerky like Big Thunder. The little cars rocks from side to side but not to induce motion sickness. Up and over...won't tell to much but we really enjoyed this ride! Thumbs up.
We got off this fabulous addition to FantasyLand and headed off to Dumbo. We love this ride. So simple so cute. I also like the store in the large tent in that area. We had fun on Dumbo Jo likes to make the baby elephant go up and down. I just enjoy the view. No photos sorry. I was hanging on and Jo was having too much fun!
Next we had a lunch date at BOG. Oh were we looking forward to this! The heat that day was fierce. A simple short distance from Dumbo area to BOG felt like a trek in the desert...
We arrived at check in at the wonderful BOG. SB line was insane. Folks melting like popsicles. I noticed they had water for people which was nice but I think they need more shade. Maybe the Beast can come and stand over them.
We checked in fine scanning our MB. Quick glasses dance and we were in the castle! Oh my I forgotten how lovely it is! Past the suits of armour. Up to the podium. Quick change of meal due to diet requirements. No problem!
We cuddled our rose and found a seat. Last time we sat in the section with the snow scene. This time we choose the other room. Change is as good as a rest!
Jo had the beef sandwich and I had turkey. We both said it was delicious!
To be continued the Frozen meet and greet...
