May 2008--Everything's Coming Up Roses -- COMPLETE

We start our vacation on April 26th in Miami, then we go a couple of days to Key West, and a couple of days to Fort Myers Beach. We'll arrive at Disneyworld at May 3th, untill May 10th. We will stay at Pop.

Sounds like a great vacation -- and we definitely overlap!! Want to post a picture so in case we're in the same place, same time, I can just say "Hey!" I promise no stalking...just love to say hello if we happen to be in the same area!

It's funny...growing up I was not the touchy-feely person at all (my friends laughed at me b/c I didn't even cry at my high school or college graduation)...so I actually tried to train myself to engage in the whole shaking hands, giving hugs type of thing...then after having my DD who you just want to slather with hugs and kisses it also helps teach the importance of the human touch.

So, long story short -- I'd be upset if I don't get a hug from y'all!

That is good . It would have been a mess if I hugged someone and they smacked me..................lol. Boy talk about a trip report . Anyway, I am now looking at the food end and trying to make ADRs at places all my picky folks will eat . My oldest DS and I will eat anything the rest of the gang .

Now counting days 61 to go.

Definitely let us know which ADRs you get! I'll be curious to see how busy it's going to be this year ... one article I read (forget where) said that attendance is up this year for Disney.

Thanks for joining! I just bought the Disney 8x8 scrapbook album yesterday and a pack of refill pages (I'm one of those people who only buy when I have a coupon and AC Moore and Michaels only let you use one coupon a day...so I'll do multiple trips as I need more).

I was excited to find a Buzz Lightyear and Zurg pack of stickers and one with Mickey and Minnie sitting together and watching fireworks -- so there is part of my B, Z and F!

Not much new except I bought my Disney album, sorted my stickers and wrote down my A-Z stuff to start working on the ABC book. Just checked and my refill pages don't fit the Disney book. I had checked all the 8x8 refills that Michaels, AC Moore and Joann's had and i thought this one would fit...ARGH!

Now it's the same book I used last time and I found refills for the Sept book...so I just got to keep looking. Wish I could remember where I bought them...

Also, I asked DH about the Captain Mom, Captain Dad and Captain's Kids shirts for the Pirate and Princess Party (did I show you these? since I can't remember, I'll post below)...and he said to go ahead and get them. DH said he would wear or he would dress up as a pirate! Very cool!

Then for DD, I'd do the same shirt but it says Captain Kid (oops, can't find this one anymore...wonder if it's out of stock...) Maybe one of the following:

I also like this one since DD loves her teddy bear!

This says, You shall call me Captain Teddysword.

Or how about:

If my DD was younger, I think I'd make up a shirt that says: Pirate of the Crib I Be In!

So any thoughts?

I found a book at the store that had the foam top and bought letters and stuff and decorated the top with there name and disney memories. It will fit pictures turned and I thought they could have the picture and autograph on the oppossite page. I am not very crafty but I think they turned out fine.

The shirts are great Marshay. I love DD's the best but the others are great too! We are just now playing with graphics and all and will make our shirts as it gets closer. WE bought the Lime Green shirts but the graphics we have so far I don't think will look good on lime green, so we'll be needed a light blue, a white and maybe a red, not sure yet. What colors do you think would look good on the lime green? You are my craft idol so I know you'll give me the best advice!
