May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

Is anyone staying at the Hyatt at the airport? We will be there.
[/url]

We will be there! Funny enough, my sister will be there as well, but she will be flying home the next day, as that is the END of her trip. Her vacation starts on the 22nd, then we overlap on May 1st when mine starts. Kind of poor planning!

:woohoo: Only TEN more days till the cruise... :woohoo:

Ok...........so why didn't anyone remind me that I had to find room for all my FE stuff in our suitcases....:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1: I spent the evening putting together all the FE stuff and trying to organize our packing a little more. There is not enough wine in the world to help with that!

DH is going to freak when he figures out how much luggage we have. If we didn't have to bring the garment bag it would really help. Oh well, I think I might have it put together not too badly (is that even a sentence?)

If I could figure out a way of not bringing our laptop I would. I just hate the thought of dragging that around.:sad2:

I am with you on this one!! DH is ready to SCREAM!!!! We are going to go home with more empty bags then filled ones! Stay calm! Everything will be fine!!

Laura, I hope that you have a great day!

Peace and hugs to all!
Lisa

Hey ZeroG, I woke up this morning wondering if you were going to do a Cape Canaveral countdown once we got to 10. You did!!! Thanks!:worship:

Last final is tomorrow. I'm so distractable these days that it's hard to study for it. Kind of like Dorie the fish.

my4bratz- I am bringing Twilight and also the next book in that series. I really wanted to bring a no brainer book....both of my DD's said I should read them...so am going to give it a try.

Tonight DH and I went to see the Disney movie, "Earth". I knew that it was a spin off of the Planet Earth series, but it turns out that MUCH of it is exactly what is on Planet Earth. I still enjoyed it because I was seeing it on the big screen, but DH (who is a TOTAL nutbar when it comes to nature movies and documentary) was very disappointed, mainly because it was exactly the same as what we have on DVD at home. I was also surprised that they put in a lot of "kill" scenes when I saw that it was rated G. I heard a few young kids that were crying a little and gasping....so beware if your kids don't like watching that.

My DD's 3rd grade class went to see that movie today too...she told me that there was too many animals being killed as well. Lucky for me, she's a "discovery channel" type kid, so she wasn't too traumatized.

I am just posting this, (didn't want to put it on the first page) to give everyone a chance to print it out. Please have a look and make sure your info is right!

Good luck pixiedust: with that last exam! Will talk to you this weekend.

laura001-Thank you for the heads up regarding the movies "kill scenes". When I saw the previews, I wondered if they did include those. I know Disney tries to represent the true cycle of life, but I agree it can be very traumatizing for a child to see the cute polar bear rip apart the cute baby seal.:sad1:
I'll pass the heads up to my friends with little ones.

On a lighter note, only 9 days till we sail! WOOHOO:woohoo:

The part that I found surprising was that it is rated G. I don't have a problem with it being shown and I don't think it would have bothered my kids, but I did hear kids in the theatre that were affected by it...so it is always good to know before you go.

laura001-I agree, it is surprising they would leave it as a G rating. Even though it is the natural cycle of life, I think overall little ones aren't expecting to see the brutality of nature. I wonder why Disney didn't make it PG?:confused3

Hey everybody !

I just came back from getting a pedicure and now I am all ready to leave next Wednesday ! :cutie: I guess that I'll take back saying that I will not be needing my shorts for this coming weekend, they are calling for a lot of sunshine and 78 on Saturday and Sunday and 80 on Monday in Montreal ! Woohoo !!! :dance3:

My DH is also starting to get excited ! :woohoo: That's a first. ::yes:: It takes a lot for him ! :cool2:

See you all very soon ! pixiedust:
