I think I've got all the organizers updated on the website and there's only a couple of outstanding items.

If organizers could have a look at their pages if you haven't recently, we should get them updated to reflect the current situation as everyone's getting so excited the questions are flying in. Many of the pages have not been touched in many months and just have the original information.

I've given edit access to a few organizers and some people have been making their own changes. I can certainly give access to anyone else that has a Google Sites account (easy to get) and it's fairly easy to make changes - I'm making them after all, how hard can it be? :rotfl: Or I can continue to make changes - just tell me what to do.

You may have met your challenge. I need the beginner course.

Concierge guests do not receive a boarding card. They are escorted to the concierge waiting area and boarded directly after the Family of the Day through a side door (at PC , not sure what they do in the non Disney Terminals). Any concierge guests who arrive after boarding has begun can board as soon as they check in.

This depends on which port you are leaving from. The above is true at Port Canaveral, but most of the other ports do not have a separate door from the concierge area to use for boarding. In LA, concierge was given a number 1 card and platinum number 2.

At Port Canaveral in May, 2012 we (as platinum) were given a number 2 and it was explained that they were trying to keep things consistent among all the ports.

Ditto! Is having a gmail account enough? It's what I use for work.

I'm 50/50 whether a gmail account needs to also be a Google Sites account or whether you get it by default. I came at it the other way. I turned my hotmail email into a Google Sites account (but have since changed to a gmail account). I also did it almost a year ago.

If you already have a gmail account, try going to http://sites.google.com and see what happens when you login (or auto-login if you've been signed into gmail).

I'm thinking it should be pretty obvious or not if your account is a Google Sites account. Once that works, I need your email address (PM me or use the Contact the Webmaster page on the website).

Once you have access, making changes to your page is fairly easy. Make sure you're logged in (login link is at the bottom of the page) and the edit links are then at the top.

But, there's also no need to get into any of this if you don't want to. Just PM me (or use the Contact the Webmaster link on the EBTA website) what you want done.

Once we get the new thread set up, you can make changes on your post on page 1 and the website can link to that.

You make it sound easy. Sent you a PM.

It's -5 degrees here this morning. :( I just thought I would share.

I hope I'm not spoiling a big reveal (very sorry if so), but WVRunner's made updates to the website and uploaded a bunch of very cool art for the Running Club page. It makes me want to sign up. :worship:

Love her pictures and description! I might not be able to do the walking/running set time, but I'm going to be aiming for the marathon! When I did the MR cruises I aimed for two miles per day, so that should get me to a marathon :cool1:

:worried: Dream of Castaway Cay. Soon we'll be there in the sun :beach:. It's 25* here, so we're toasty warm compared to you.

I'm thinking about the Secret Mickey.

I think we should have the following rules:
  • 3 gifts during the cruise and then 1 gift at the reveal moment.
  • Participants can be set up the way you want (ie, the whole stateroom, a couple, one child, two children, one adult, only the adults from a stateroom, only the children form a stateroom).
  • A maximum amount of $ for the total of gifts.
  • Cut off date for signing up is: Saturday March 9th

What do you all think of this??
Please let me know (even when you not plan to participate) if you have some other ideas and suggestions.

If you want to participate in Secret Mickey please send me a pm.

Please send one pm per Secret Mickey (if you participate as a couple then you are one Secret Mickey but i need the info of you both. If you have 2 kids that you want to be seprate Sectret Mickey's send 2 pm's).
The info send to me by pm will only goes to your assigned Secret Mickey.

What i want to know of each participant is:

Yay! Thanks so much for doing this!

We are totally in (for the boys), but I had a couple of suggestions:

1) I think four gifts is too much. Not because of the number of gifts, but because of the $ limit. I think it's hard to find four gifts under $30 (unless one is like a candy bar or something. We had a $25 limit last cruise and got some really random cheapo things from our SM. I'd rather get one "good" thing and a couple of little things. JMO. Or raise the limit (although that is tough for some).

2) We could add:

Shirt size:

I think the more specific we can be, the better we can ensure that the kiddos will be happy.

I'll wait to send a PM until we finalize the info part!

VERY COOL! We have some amazing organizers!

I haven't signed up, because I don't think I will be able to get away at 7:30. I might end up joining since I run on the treadmill (very unwillingly) every day on the ship!

Sorry I haven't been giving you updates on the shirts. Bob has been having some major medical issues that are still not resolved. However, we've paid the cruise in full and are proceeding with the thought we are going. I have sent an e-mail to Becky asking about the final pricing and dates for the shirts. I've also sent her updated images. Will let you all know as soon as I hear back and determine if we have enough interest to order. If there is, I'll post images with the order forms.

I also adjusted the images for a tee shirt. I ordered one from Vista and I was pleased with the results. Here is a copy of the image:

livepreview.aspx

If anyone wants to copy it, I can either help get it moved to Vista for you or you can get it from my Flicker page. Flicker has better resolution then if you copy it from here. I can also edit the image, adding text, or almost anything else. I can talk with Vistaprints about setting up an account for our group, if there is interest, I've done it before.

Sending thoughts and prayers your way. Thanks for doing all this - I know you have a lot going on and on your mind.
