Us too!! Now we are officially on this cruise! We can't wait! My DD keeps asking when our next cruise is! She loves cruising!

We are definitely dressing up for Pirate night. This will be the third cruise for these costumes, so if the dont make it off the ship I won't be too sad.

It is much more difficult when you are going for longer and holidaying/vacationing afterwards, you have to be so careful with the limited amount of space you have!

Well, like anything I suppose, you want to read the reviews. But I've had good luck. They are generally the same brand name as you would find in Walmart and other places.

My wife Richlyn and I (Bob) from Los Angeles area are booked on EBTA. This will be our 17th DCL cruise. Never done the Trans Atlantic. Looking forward to a great time.

Thank you for the offer. Is AC Moore a paint store? I actually live in a small town with a slightly bigger town across from us. We're an hour from the city, but we don't have a lot of the stores that others have. We do have a Walmart, but no Target. Our Target and Costco are an hour away. We drive into the city about once a month, but don't go to many places other than Costco.

If you are willing to pick up the hats for us, I'd gladly send you a check or give you money at a meet up. Whatever you feel comfortable with.

What do you think the chances of me getting a pirates costume in the Walmart on Galveston on the Friday?

Probably close to none. I was there on Nov 3, the morning of embarking the Magic, and still shopping around for clearance Halloween items to add to our stash back home. There was nothing "piratey" that I was able to pick up -- the clearance Halloween stuff was other non-pirate items. I was able to pick up large bags of Halloween candy that day half-off as gifts for crew --- such as when leaving a pillowcase to be autographed with GS I left a huge bag of candy with it. Just in general there wasn't too much pirate stuff.

I hear ya! They had them in stock -- pretty sure that is where we got our's. I'll ask DH but they were only $3 if so. I'll be happy to just pick one up for you and have it at the Tremont if you like. Next time I go I will see exactly what sizes they have and let you know.

If they are kids' sizes, glitter is always good. My girls are not super girly, but they love sparkly. If they have adult sizes we'd love two for us (large heads) w/o glitter. And I will happily pay for the hats AND your drink of the day!

Wow! I'm always amazed how fast those go. I think my DH would like one (but not the price), so it's probably a good thing they sold out before us lowly silvers can book.
