May 14 park hours & other stuff

Per the website the park closes at 7, but there is a concert at 7 that night. So do just the rides close? Or?

Am I right in thinking that if the park closes at 7, then May is a pretty slow time?

We are going because DD wants to see Big Time Rush. I'd like to go on a few rides and also get a good spot for the concert, any advice on what time we should get there?

The park closes at 7pm that night so nothing is left open past the closing time. Unless you are already in line, you will not be able to ride anything. The concert will be held in the band shell at the Studios and there will be a very large crowd to see BTR. Since the concert area is standing room only, I would suggest getting there no later than 4pm or so if you want to be near the stage. If you don't really care about being that close, arrive later and hang out along the outside edge of the concert area so it's easy to run to the bathroom or grab a drink.
