May 14-16th???

So we were planning a trip in May to Hawaii but the resort we booked was hit pretty hard by tsunami and they may cancel our ressie. So..... We are thinking about changing to wdw and are looking at our dates in may. On the reservation availability boards it shows that studios in almost all resorts are booked May 14-16th? Those dates seem to keep popping up on that board. Is there something special going on that weekend that is causing the rooms to fill up?

I know the Flower and Garden Festival is going on that weekend. Maybe that is why everything is booked full. Sorry to hear about your Hawaii trip....hopefully something will become available at Disney for you.
