Hi Everyone!

25 years ago today, June 25th, 1983, I married my best friend, my soul mate, my lover, and the mother of my beautiful children.

I am blessed man in so many ways. Today I honor my wife for putting up with me, my moods, my mistakes, and my failures. She could have had so much more, but she choose to walk by my side these years faithfully and without any reservation.

I am so grateful to God for my wife and how much she still loves me.

We don't know what the future holds for us. With God's grace, I hope we will have another 25 years together.

I know one thing for sure, my love for my wife will never cease. Our love is forever.

I have gone insane! I am putting aluminumn foil over all of my appliances to see what they would like as stainless. If you walked in you would think I am one of those people who foil their whole house so the alien's can't read their minds. Oh wait! Maybe I am one of those people! If I get locked away tonight, it is because my DH will think I have lost my mind!

Ok, yes dear NC, this sounds a little bit kooky -- and I could SO see myself doing the same thing My son just bought a condo, and wants to replace the appliances with stainless steel -- more expensive, but they do look very nice! Certainly better than avocado or harvest gold -- remember when those colors were all the rage?

RF, yeah, I know it's not as busy as it was when you all were planning your trips -- I miss the excitement! I still have almost THREE months left...think I'll go nuts before then!

Right now, I'm just planning for that trip to Montana July 12-18 to get my folks moved into the senior's apartment. Will be such a relief not to worry about that they aren't getting their medicines, or eating properly, or shouldn't be driving anymore. Thank goodness I have plenty of vacation time on the books so I'll still have time left for WDW in September

well, we still don't have the "official" word as to the job. We are going insane. (NC_ throw me some aluminum foil this way----- yes, I DO INDEED think you've lost it, I might as well join you---LOL.)

However---
Mark has been told that there is a sales meeting in August just for this team that the new job is with- and that a room has been reserved at a hotel in his name on that team for the trip. So we are just waiting on the offer. Good Grief can they wait any more???? Um, yes, I'm sure they can. We were trying to get the house listed before Friday- b/c that's when we are supposed to leave for Charleston. Looks like that's not going to happen.

Anyway-
NC- is that school Shiloh???? We looked into that private school. The tuition is really cheaper than I thought it would be. Mark said we could send all three kids for $11K a year. Not bad. WE'd just have to buy a cheaper home in order to afford it, LOL!!!!

Sea- I sure hope that you let your DW read what you wrote here about your life together. That was the sweetest thing I have ever read. Happy Anniversary to you both!

RF- OMG- I wanted to see Peter Pan!!!! I hope it's wonderful!!!!

good morning to everyone!!!

it's going to be another boring day in pgh. work - home - eat -clean -sleep

yesterday - we went to my friend sarah's house and she made us taco salads and pound cake with strawberries and we watched "The Office" woo-hoo!! we really know how to live it up, huh? (although that show is HILARIOUS)

UUUUMMMM...... what else ???

Bob and I have been trying to go on more dates now that we have been back from our honeymoon - to try and keep things fun here - so I am not constantly wanting to be in WDW

last week on friday the 13th - we went to PF Chang's (MMMM...MMM MY FAV!!! ) and we sent to see the scary movie "The Strangers" with Liv Tyler - scared the crap out of me - I loooove scary movies and this one isn't scary like "Oh a ghost is coming to get me..." It's scary like, "Wow, people are psychos and this might (and did... apparantly) actually happen"

then for this saturday Bob surprised me with tickets for us to go see Peter Pan at the Benedum center

My DSS can only drink clear liquids.... but from what he says he really hasn't been hungry. So that is good for him.....

Oh wait did i tell you guys our family trip to WDW in Dec started with 13 people well the tally is now 24 people .... sheesh what to do i think it's safe to say that we will not be doing any dining in WDW... but it's ok.... well i have to see if everybody that is going will like to go to 1 place atleast and i'll make sure i'll tell them the prices and stuff.... maybe i can convince them to to a character buffet that would be much better..... we'll see...

Hello everyone!

I am still here. Just been busy! DS6 started T-ball. They are both still taking swimming lessons and doing great! Playdates all the time! Been outside a lot. DH made it home from his 2 week training class in State College this past weekend. Hopefully he is done traveling for awhile! I am getting ready for a "Father's Day" cook out here this weekend since we were away on Father's Day and my dad was away last weekend. Let's see, what else. . . . I think I have more readers for it than I did for my whole TR last year!! I have people PMing me and asking all kinds of questions!

Oh and yesterday I was told by one of the DISers on my dining report that the weekend I had tentatively planned to go to WDW this Jan/Feb is Superbowl weekend and it is in Tampa and the last time it was in Tampa it brought large crowds to WDW. . . Does anyone here know if that is right? I mean, I guess it would make sense that people would make a trip to WDW out of it since they would already be close. But anyway, we didn't have anything set in stone yet (just in my head!). So now we are looking at other dates in Jan/Feb and trying to avoid MLK day and now the Superbowl, and going before mid-Feb when the rates go up and the spring breakers roll in.

NC - Good luck with the appliances! You are cracking me up!!

Mari - That is awful about your SS. Hope he recovers soon. Glad he will be moving in with you guys and will be safe. Oh, and Taylor'smom was trying to get everyone to identify themselves on the photopass share so she could just send everyone pics of their own family. She said she hadn't heard from you, so I identified your family for you! Yours should be shipped shortly.

i think that i actually read in my passporter that superbowl weekend draws in larger crowds also - but i am not sure. when i get home i can check it out for you and see if that's where i read it

i have a horror story from swimming lessons that i still remember (this is now 20 years later - i don't remember what i ate for lunch yesterday - and yet, somehow i recall this.... do you think it scarred me, maybe?? )

anyways - we had to jump off the diving board into the deep end (12 feet) and i didn't want to and i kept not doing it, so the instructor said that he would catch me and then i could try again when i was less scared (do we all see where this is going - because at the age of 5 - i didn't) and he of course did not catch me and i sunk to the bottem like a stone and that is probably why to this day i am petrified of drowning (i clawed the heck out of bob's arm because he made me go in the wave pool at typhoon lagoon )
