And don't forget - we think the world of you too! It is an amazing job that he provides and we are so appreciative as a nation, but we also thank you! It is not an easy thing to have your spouse gone for such a long time and have to "hold down the fort". I think you are a family who I would nominate for the "much deserved vacation" family (if there could be such a thing)! So glad he and all the others are safe and we are so glad you have this wonderful vacation ahead of you!

I second it, that the ship model can not be missed! It is right there in the middle of the lobby (it is all one big open room - with basically, check in on the left hand side and waiting area seating on the right). It can get a little busy around the ship when the characters are out to take pictures (as they generally stand in front of the model), but the model is VERY big and I think there would be plenty of room to meet there.

I can order them, it should come out to about $1.25 each band. I would need to know sizes and what to write on them. Someone said our group was the "Disney Fantastics" so I could put that. And the sail dates. I would need to order them before the 25 of April, so I will say I need all orders by the 22. Its about a 2 week turn around.

Thanks so much for organizing all of this! What a fun way to recognize one another on the ship as well as a great souvenir!

Which cold part of Europe are you in? Is this your first Caribbean cruise? I'm dying to do a cruise "over there". Med, Greek Isles, Norway, etc. I'm not picky but I would LOVE to do something different. The problem is, I don't want to have to pay for the airfare for all five of us and if I flew over there, I'd have to bring the munchkins.

We live in Prague. Central Europe has been unseasonably cold for the past two weeks, maybe three, but the sun is threatening to come out.

We did an eleven day Med cruise last summer and it converted us to be Disney cruisers. We kind of fell into it accidentally as another vacation was cancelled and we had to come up with something to replace it. I have to say, it was marvelous. You should look into the 2013 dates in the Med. As for airfare, I understand that Disney can work wonders if you book through them. I would say the extra airfare is worth it as they do a really good job of covering a lot of beautiful and really memorable places in a week, though I understand from those who have sailed both in the Med and the Caribbean that its more tiring over here as the shore excursions are longer and more active. The day in Rome, for example, was more than eight hours of touring plus bus rides. But its Rome (!) and the boys loved the Colosseum and we loved the Vatican. The boys still talk about the leaning tower of "Pizza" and the car museum in Monaco.

I would first have to talk my husband into Europe in the summer. Maybe I'll just go without him!

Prague?!?!?! I LOVE Prague!! We went to Europe for two weeks in December of 2003 and spent one week of it in Prague. Stayed at the Hotel Savoy out in Hradcany. Wow! What a magical city. I'd give up a two week cruise for one more week in Prague. I loved it all....except walking across the Charles Bridge at night...in December....nearly froze my ears off! 22 more days and we can pick your brain about Prague in person.

Everything is put aside in one spot at home so I've kind of packed already but at least DH doesn't think I am insane yet by wheeling out the suitcase
I am convincing him that he really doesn't need to take much himself so that I have space for my shoes in his bag

I have you down for the bands. I am moving your 6 and 9 year olds to the adult s/ teen bands. The child bands are for ages 3-6, and are very small. But I'll let you make the final decision when I give them to you.
