And don't forget to bring your sourdough starter for the fresh bread...

Man, I can do all of the above...funny story for all the LDS ladies out there:
:rotfl:

Ha Ha, I can do all that stuff, too, and can my own tomatoes, sauce, jams and jellies. And I am not even LDS.....just a midwestern girl! :hippie:

ScottH, just noticed that you are in Cheyenne. We drive up there a couple times a year - as a matter of fact our Ladies of Harley group has a ride to the Cheyenne dealer this Saturday - if the snow from Friday is gone, that is.

Looking forward to meeting you guys on the cruise.

Looks like the weather will be crudy, 80% chance of snow tonight, but ya never know. I used to work with the Floor manager of that Dealership, I'll have to think of a way fro you to embarass him , or you can do whatever and say it was from me. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Actually we need new tires on our bikes, and new batteries, we just moved here in Nov for me and Lynn came down in Dec.

I might try to stop by, might even try to fire up my bike.

Weather dude just said 2-5 " of the white stuff, and we are trying to plant tree and get some sod in.

Hmmmm..... Hey Milestogo....what stateroom are you in???:rolleyes1 I must have missed that one or messed something up!

I have gotten e-mail from several new folks. Some are just out there lurking.... Come out and post! We don't bite! Love to get to know you.

Tonight or tomorrow I should have an update done. If you find any other errors, please let me know.

So funny! Lots of miles!!! Elderfam so sorry to hear about your adoption. I am glad you are back on the cruise to take your mind off of things. DCL and DVC really screwed up my reservation today. They cancelled my port transfers and told me they put Abby down for $99 and my credit card company said no way!! I don't know what is happening. Erik - I think you were saying that if they cancel and rebook your reservation, you lose your excursions? Is this true or am I dreaming?

When is Doc day?? Shouldn't we be seeing our docs arriving soon??!! :sail:

Still don't have my surprise magnets yet...maybe my TA will send them with the docs.... :confused3

Not Erik, but if they cancel/rebook or just do a credit, your ressies may go, but if you are on the phone with them, or your TA is dealing with it, they can put them right back if asked to do so.

If you go into My Reservation on the DCL site before you do anything and then click on whatever you have reserved, it will have a reservation # for each thing. I recommend printing all that out so it is handy in case you have to resurrect anything. My TA had them recreate all my stuff and we were still missing one, but when I pointed it out, DCL fixed it right away. Phew!

Marika has been taking a calss at Shaker Village on Thursday mornings. One was cancelled due to snow. The make up was supposed to be last week. That was cancelled due to more snow. Tomorrow should be the make up for the make up--you guessed it, the email just came in, it is cancelled due to the storm which is expected blow in here any any minute! Me thinks it's time for a vacation (30 days, 30 days--it's my new mantra).

Room assignments--There is no rhyme or reason to this:confused3 I am still hoping to get into at least a 10 (not asking for much, not even a view:rolleyes1 ). 11 has always been okay before, but I have never had two weeks worth of stuff to get into it (and Marika's stuff is getting so much bigger lately).

Luggage--As I don't generally pack anything breakable, soft sided works for us. We have two largish rolling duffles (I think the manufacturer says they are medium, but they seem huge to me), plus one medium suitcase and one of the carry-on sized rolling bags (all of which we will check on the airline). We will each have a small carry on as well (kids backpacks, laptop bag). The duffles are nice because they squish well under the bed:thumbsup2

Denver fliers--Are any of you flying out of DIA on the 7:15 am Southwest flight on the 11th? That is when my in-laws are comming in.

Mass. Fliers--any one heading to MCO from Manchester airport? We'll be on the 8:10 flight Friday morning.

Still no DCL surprise. Also no Castaway anything. Still in a cat. 11. Maybe DCL doesn't want me on the ship:sad2: Too bad, I'm comming anyway:cool1:

Mickey Squared

I am flying out on May 11 on Southwest then renting a car and staying with relatives. We will leave for the Port early the next morning, and drop the car at the Cape.

It seems like the closer we get to the cruise the harder it is to keep up with all the new posts!

I called DCL to see if I could get my palo, excursion and spa reservations back but they said no. I wasnt surprised but thought it was worth asking.
I did ask her how full the ship was and after a long pause (don't know if she was thinking about not telling me or looking it up) she said 50%.

Am I correct in thinking thats REALLY empty?:confused3

Scott, my husband had a blast with the google directions!:lmao: :lmao:

I take my knitting with me when I fly and no one bats an eye...even when I have my long metal needles! :rolleyes1

Hi guys, well I didn't realize it was official until I read the disboards this afternoon. My DSIL was able to book multiple rooms with the airline rate, so we rebooked again (about the 4th time!!!) and we requested an upgrade to the cat. 6 because we figured it was the same rate as we were willing to pay at the port. So, I just realized we got our room we are officially and finally in 6570. We will be right next door to Littleowensmommy, which is great since she is a friend!! They were trying to get us the same room for both cruises, but haven't been able to do it since we're DVC on the 11 night... Now we will try to upgrade for the 11 night to the same room. We are so excited that we finally have the room that we were trying to get in the first place. Debbie, you can officially mark us down for 6570. Had I been paying attention maybe I would have noticed cupcake's mom's room number!!!

Will do on the next update, which hopefully will be tomorrow!

Yay on getting the cabin!

I just signed up for the Barcelona segway tour that someone posted very early in this thread. It is at http://www.shoretrips.com/common/search4.asp?tcode=009400

I didn't think that I would get on it because they take so few people and I was so late in booking, but I just got confirmation. So if anyone is interested you might give it a try.

Mary and I booked the 5/25 morning Segway Tour directly through Barcelona Glides
http://www.spainglides.com/
I did the Epcot Segway Tour and really enjoyed it-this should be a fun way to see the city.
