May 10, 2008 Ship of Thieves! Stealing the Magic..AGAIN!!! Panama Canal FL to CA!!! Part 7

Just popping in to say Hi. I try to keep up but haven't been very successful lately. Have dealt with a leg infection that required IV antibiotics (not fun and not something I want to repeat!), bronchitis that still won't go away, Mom's surgery, Dad's visit and tests for Jim -- it might be his gallbladder. Hoping to be healthy by cruise time.

Hi Fiona, it's nice to hear from you, sorry you've had such a rough time of it lately though

I am not feeling so good myself...awfully stuffy and congested. I am going to down some Sudafed ....hopefully I can stay awake.

Samantha is home with Daddy today. She was up on and off through the night, no fever, nasty cough and she threw up several times. ??? Not sure what is going on. Our ped offers sick only walk ins until 8:15 or 8:30, but I hated to wake her so I am going to try and get her an appointment later in the day.

I just can't figure it out?

V-hope you and Samantha are feeling better soon

I hope everyone is getting all of their sicknesses over and done with this year so we are all healthy , happy and rested for this cruise

Just before we got back home I got the call from my brother. His wife passed away shortly after 3 today. She was in the hospital for 4 months, they were not hopeful for the past week and Sat. night told him they did not think she would survive the night. This is so sad for him, they were completely devoted. Services will be sometime later this week.

I am so sorry Angie, this is so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Dennis and your brother

I just HAD to change my signature for for awhile . . .

Whether or not we get in to DVC Amy made some reservations through work at some fleabag motel (actually Marriott Courtyards).

So, we will arrive late Thursday the 25th (missing game 2 in Cleveland if we make it to the Series) and leaving on Monday the 29th.

I have no idea who is meeting who where since this was kind of last minute, I know V will be there, and now I have to look up stuff and do some last minute planning.

If there is a group meet going on, and we are not horning in, let me know.

Well, the approach of the cold front is what triggers my migraines. Something about the atmospheric pressure. I discovered this when 2 other co-workers who get migraines would get them the same day as me. They both informed me what they knew about the weather being a trigger. I've suffered from these for almost 30 years and never knew that until this year. And when the cold front arrives or passes (not sure what the term is) the atmospheric pressure changes again and my migraine goes away. I don't care to know all the technical terms, but it's sort of funny to be a weather predictor!

Glad the sun came out for you! We had horrible storms overnight and it's supposed to be sunny all day.

I am feeling off today as well, will be interesting to see what the morning brings, weather is my main trigger as well.
