I am going to the spa this morning and then run a few errands and then to dinner at my favorite place - Stoney River!

I leave for Fl in the morning so I will have to throw a couple of things in the suitcase sometime today.

I hope you have a lovely time, though I can't understand the 'throw a couple of things in the suitcase' bit!!! I'm already stressing about packing for this cruise.

It's easy! Grap a couple of outfits from the closet along with undies and you're ready! We keep a bag with toothbrushes and such packed.

As far as the cruise - for that many days it will be just about everything I have!

I am a 1950 girl also. I LOVED cutting up the Sears catalog as so did many of my friends. We always lived in the city and my parents both worked which was unusual I suppose for the time. I spent a great deal of time with my grandparents and I treasure the memories of trips, visits to the zoo and museums which I may have never made if I weren't with my grandparents.

One of my favorite memories is how I thought my father was paid his salary. We would often go out to eat on a Friday night and he would pay in cash. I would notice the change and so I just assumed he was getting his paycheck. Kids sure get strange ideas.

This reminds me of my neice. She told her mom to quit her job an just keep going to the machine at the bank and take money out from there.....no need to work for your money!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No matter how hard we tried, she could not understand the concept of working to get the money in the machine at the bank. :lmao: :lmao:

It will be 6 am even sooner in NY.. I hate working late!!

Ummmm . . . no, it will be (was) 6:00 the same time in OH as New York . . . you just get to see the sun rise a bit sooner. I know OH sounds like the wild west in NY, but we are Eastern time too.

Good morning everyone!

If you don't have a PassPorter (or even if you do):

$1 PassPorter:
PassPorter's Disney Cruise Line and Its Ports of Call (Third Edition) is available for JUST ONE BUCK ($1) at very limited quantities

The big news at PassPorter.com is a new
$1 PassPorter book offer! For the first time ever, we're selling an older edition of our Disney Cruise Line guidebook for just $1 plus postage and handling (we've done this in the past with our Walt Disney World guidebooks). We have a few hundred copies of the paperback of PassPorter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line and its Ports of Call 3rd Edition, updated in August 2005. Since that was the year the cruise line first passed through the Panama Canal and sailed to West Coast ports, it's an especially handy item for folks sailing this year's Panama Canal and West Coast itineraries. Whether you'll be cruising on those itineraries, are curious about our cruise line guidebook, or want to share the PassPorter magic with your friends and family, this is a great way to get your feet wet (so to speak).
Order your copies at http://www.passporterstore.com/store...assporter.aspx

I ordered mine....300 and some left...

or wine in a box??:thumbsup2

I'll pretend I didn't read that...:scared1:

Karen
the movie Monster in Law (I think it was called) there was one line in it that referred to Jane Fonda's character as she used to drink wine from a box...I thought it was hilarious!

Thanks Jackie. I went to have a look but couldn't get any sense out of the estimated shipping costs to the UK. Cheapest they came up with was $27+!!!:lmao:

Thursday...and pay day as well! Not that it really matters, it's all gone before I get it anyway!

Man, every day this week I have had to FORCE myself to go to work (actually took the morning off on Monday!). I think it's time to schedule a long weekend or two with my spare vacation days (got about 3 left unassigned, I believe). My 28th anniversary with the company is coming up in a couple of weeks...maybe I'm finally bored with it?

Ah well, off to build a breakfast and pack a lunch...the last week of the quarter is such a nightmare, I'm sure I'll be in a better place next week!

.

What else does wine come in?

Next thing you guys will try and tell me beer comes in bottles!

I know what you mean....I have to drag myself in here as well.

I've been chatty tonight. Hope I did not bore you all. I need to get to bed now. I have a terrible cold and I HAVE to go to work tomorrow since 3 out of the 4 of us will not be there tomorrow. Leaves only me to hold down the fort. I left work a couple of hours early today hoping to come home and lie down. But....both daughters needed me to run a couple of errands for them and both really needed me to do that, so....I got settled in about the usual time. Good thing I headed out early though. Things are always as they should be. ;)

I hope you feel better soon. With kids, the helping is never done, is it?

GinaMarie....I think we already lost John and Noel....time for me to say Good Night too!!!! Don't stay up too late and have a great Thursday! Nice chatting tonight. Sweet Mickey Dreams!!!!!

Yes, you had lost me as we ate a late dinner with Samantha and I fell asleep!!
