Yeah, I KNOW I am 5 hours from you. Our son went to the Spartan Debate Camp two years in a row at MSU. We had to drive him there. I love that beautiful campus, and the dairy where they make their own ice cream.

Who knows, maybe we even passed each other in the Target there when we spent the night in a hotel the first time we took him.

Oh, now I remember you talking about that and the awesome dairy! At the time I thought it would be a great place to take Tyler and I looked their info up online (hours & stuff). Can't remember now why we didn't go, but maybe that's where I'll take him this weekend. Thanks for the reminder!

Wow! This is crazy! Some silly old toys of Tylers are selling for $15.50 on ebay!

I didn't have any hits on Craigslist, so I listed some of his stuff on ebay. I'm also having some luck on a Barney laptop toy, so tomorrow I'll try to find time to list the rest of his old stuff.

In simple English . . . the new Intel Macs can run Windoze. It is like having two computers in one. Once you have it set up it is pretty simple.

If you say so!!! It is still my dream to switch to a Mac, just a few other things I need to do beforehand...namely get my electronic billing/charting program up and running first!

we are on part 2 of the indiana jones triology tonight....the kids have done the rides so frequently, but never got the jist of them until a few weeks ago when we watched the first one. they are a bit graphic, glad we've waited to watch them until now.

I guess she came in from dinner at about 9pm. I said we have an hour until the Urgent care closes and we can go now.

She said "oh all my new friends came back with me and we are going to play manhunt in the back yard" ... so I said, "well we can go tomorrow,"

I guess if she doesn't feel so worried that she would rather play than go....we can wait till the morning......

Do any of you have teenagers that play manhunt?? It is like tag for teenagers in the dark

ummm - the first time I played Manhunt I was an adult - at a friend's family reunion. (Yep, alcohol was involved )

I have just spent ages scrolling through past pages to find the post I wanted. There was a lady on our cruise who had brain tumours, and I have been thinking about her and didn't want her to be lost in all our postings, but I couldn't remember her username. Well I have found the post, the lady is Tina, tlb2864. I think we should still be praying for her.



I so hope she is doing ok. She posted it on the 14th July.

Phew, when we got back in from babysitting it was too late to pop on here, so there ate 15 pages of chat to catch up on!! It's no good you know, you're not going to catch Holly up!!

Came home and put my beer in the freezer so it would be slushy, totally forgot about it until I couldn't figure out where I put my beer! Looking all over the living room and finally realized I hadn't even started drinking it yet!

I do things like that and blame my age!!!

Oh, he's earning his toys back SO quickly and he's really proud of himself too! Since his last day of day care, he's been perfectly behaved every single day.

I am going to bed. I am so tired. On top of everything else, a dear friend of ours dropped dead on Sunday evening....while outside in the street visiting with neighbors.

Today was the funereal and Don planned all the music for the service. I helped with the reception. 400 showed up for the service and reception. It was a wonderful tribute to his life.

He was such a great guy. I had visited with him on Sunday morning. Gretchen says she was the last one he tickled.....I have a very heavy heart.

So in one of my three classes tonight, our prof told us to group off into "law firms" for the semester. So instead of individuals getting called on in class, our "firm" will get called on and we'll have our partners to help answer and discuss whatever she throws at us. Very cool! On the first day of each class for the semester, I try to strategically place myself near the cute guys (if there are any). This time I hit the jackpot because I turned around and the 2 guys behind me asked if I wanted to create a firm with them. One guy is in his 50s, but the cute one is probably my age and VERY smart. We had to work as a firm twice tonight, so I imagine we'll have similar opportunities each week! Now.....to find out if he's single. He's unmarried with no kids.
