I can't remember if I said thank you for all the well wishes for my mom.

This week has been a blur and I'm sure next week will be too. The biospy is set for Friday (results not until the following Wednesday)

It's a funny place that one's mind goes when one is overwhelmed with worry.

I really can't recall what I wrote if anything here last week.

I know many of you have sent prayers and pd. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Molly and I are headed out the beach for a bbque and bonfire the boys are racing.

Nan, your pics are too precious, I loved them...thanks for sharing. I especially liked the Chinese clapping songs, since it's so in theme with what we have been doing lately.

Keep us posted on what you find out about mom, we're all concerned too. We're all hoping for a positive outcome...she looked so happy at her party. And what a great party it looked like...loved the decor.

I got a get well card yesterday from Monica...it was so sweet and I'm deeply touched. I know Monica is off to Argentina right now and won't know how I wanted to thank her....I'll do it when she gets back and I'm hoping she's having a blast! Ya know, it's that DISnation thing again...it keeps happening!

Some time Friday, my internet server went down and didn't come back until Saturday late afternoon. So I was bummed that I couldn't go online Sat morning...then I remembered that I had a broadband accessory thingy and tried that. Voila! It's a great back up for home as well as anywhere on the road. I'm liking this.

So this morning I got on the DCL website and signed myself in for the embarkation paperwork for my cruise NEXT MONTH! So cool to be able to do it all online and even cooler that I'll be in 5122 next month!

I need to heal faster so that I can go in the pool and hot tubs onboard and run around at Atlantis and on CC.

Now that we have the "get online anywhere" thingy, John said we'll be sending you guys pics while sitting at Signals while doing my BBCs. It should at least work for day one while we're in Port. It might even work in port while we're in the Bahamas...we'll see. How cool would that be...sending pics from Atlantis and CC LIVE.

Just caught up with all the posts after 4 12s. Im beat but the good news is I go to Vegas in the am for 4 days which is much needed. Will practice my champagne and tequila sipping

Computer failures are so frustrating! My DH is still trying to get our systems all back up and running!

So annoying!!!

BTW - we carry the Banfi in our wine shop and I am shipping some to the ship for the cruise along with other Champagnes and Sparkling wines for our Champagne party in our suite!!

Sorry Karen, I should have thought of you before complaining about my computer troubles, which are nothing compared to what you have gone through.

I've looked online for this country and only found one place that sells it - £66 for 6 bottles -about $20 each I suppose, but I dopn't want to buy 6 bottles! Roll on next year.

If you mean 20 POUNDS per bottle....that's high, as it's around 20 DOLLARS a bottle here (or a few dollars more).

It wasn't pretty but we won! 1 down 11 to go. Can't believe Michigan lost but sure was glad.

Michigan lost to the Appalachian State Mountaineers - not that they are a bad team, but the big M was supposed to challenge for the National Championship this year. NOT!

Alex went to a local restuarant to watch the Ohio State game, because Time Warner does not carry the Big 10 Network. When that game became the laugher it was supposed to be, everyone in the restaurant started watching the Michigan game and cheering for Appalachian State.

Sounds like the sports bar Darrell went to watch the Penn State game yesterday. They watched the end of the Michigan game and cheered on Appalachian too!

I think the entire SEC was pulling for Appalachian State! Most the people that I know are so tired of always listening to the sports announcers saying how good Michigan is all the time!

The whole Big 10 network thing really has me frosted. They ran full page ads telling you to call your cable company to get it on basic cable. Phooey! Cable costs too much as it is, and how many more channels do we need? All in the name of greed. They couldn't make enough money from the established networks, so they are now alienating their fans with their own network.

Same with the NFL network.

If I can't watch the game on Saturday, I will get things done around the house and listen to it on the radio like I did yesterday. Pretty soon our kids local hot stove baseball league will have it's own channel!

Well, our plans didn't go quite as planned, but we still had a great day! Tyler and I did go back to Llamafest today and this time he was cracking up over one llama that kept nuzzling up to me and acting like she was kissing my cheek! Then she tried to sort of wrap her neck around my neck and I told the owner I think she wants to come home with us and be our new pet! It was too funny! Those animals are so affectionate! It was great fun.....Tyler bought another llama stuffed animal to go with the one I got him yesterday. He used his tooth fairy money and is thrilled to have 2 llamas now.

He seemed sleepy, so I headed home, thinking he'd take a nap, but he just wanted to play with all the toys he's earned back the last few days. We basically just played on the floor most of the day, just having simple fun together until his dad & stepmom picked him up. He'll come back home tomorrow evening after they spend Labor Day together. After I mow tomorrow, I'm going to try really hard to motivate myself to put his firetruck wallpaper border up in his bedroom just to give him a special surprise.

I just picked up a bottle and my nearby wine shop and paid $21something ($23 with tax) (750ml) I now have TWO bottle in the fridge....better have some pals over now!
