so here't the afro I got Johnny for 70's night....do you think he'll have to go sideways through the cabin door?

You can never have too much DCL!I know you mentioned RCCL, but if you'd be interested in some pics of Carnival Liberty
Already read that trip report, yes I am a TR junkieI didn't think it was boring at all. I know there is no such thing as too much DCL (for me at least, and i would guess most people here) but for DH, that is another thing! Now, how to bring up that conversation
I just know that there is no other kid's program that compares to disney. That is what makes it so hard. And, since we are celebrating with mom and she will have her 3 GD on with her, I figure there might be a few times where just he adults would want to go out and have fun!

Well, you can only see the AKL model units at SSR - they are busy remodeling. I did ask about it though. You can see a green fence where construction has begun - until then, they are renovating the 5th and 6th floor of the lodge into DVC units. I am really wondering why they are changing over a part of the existing hotel. Not enough traffic?![]()
I don't know if we will get over to see the model or not. After looking at the pool, we decided we can wait for now. While we love Boma, the pool is OK, but no Stormalong Bay - and the slide is a bit lame now according to Sophia!![]()
We opened Epcot today, went to Soarin' wiated 20 minutes after getting FP's, then rode again with FP's, (after Amy and Sophia rode the boat ride through the greenhouse) got another FP for Soarin', then went to lunch at Norway with the Princesses (which was very busy), went back to ride Spaceship Earth, got yucky coke from around the World, then back to Soarin' again before heading home to swim, and go down the water slide, oh, about 15 more times.
Sophia and I just got shakes at Beaches and Cream, and we are showered up, and ready to hit extra Magic hours at AK tonight. We never liked the morning extra Magic Hours (who wants to get up early on vacation?), but really like the night-time ones!
Catch you all later!

Okay I'm giving up on catching up.
I was at Edith Macy Center, at a conference, with several other GS leaders from North Carolina.
Many of these woman had never been out of their county, let alone the state.
We signed up for a bus tour of NYC. The bus driver pointed out Chippendale's and the ladies wanted to stop and go in.
Well these quiet, shy southern ladies went wild!!!! Dollar bills were tucked in every nook and cranny.
We were kicked out when one of them wouldn't keep her hands off of one of the dancers. She was so worried that word would get back to council and they wouldn't let her be a leader.
We were back at the center and told her that it made the evening news."Girl Scout leaders bounced from Chippendales." She almost died.
WHAT?! Laughing is allowed where you work?!![]()

Now everyone at work wants to know what I'm laughing at!

I have to ask....did Mom have bad heartburn during her pregnancy? It is an old wives tale that the more heartburn you have the more hair the baby has, so I always ask just for my own "study". (for me it proved true as DD1 was a bald toe head and I had no heartburn and DD2 had a thick head of hair and my heartburn was horrible near the end (went through 20 tums or so a day!)).
Okay, here is my Annie story for today. I was able to get her into the doctor at 10:30am. (Everyone was like what are you back for...was there yesterday with Gretchen's broken thumb).
Annie has strep, bronchitis and pneumonia!! They did not put her in the hospital. She is on 4 drugs, including steroids for her lungs. I just keep hearing over and over the teachers telling me "Annie is bouncing back" " Annie is better today" "Annie will be fine" The doctor said she is very sick. She is also contagious.
I called the head teacher and left her a message with Annie diagnosis, in case the other 6 still have fevers or if there are more fevers. I asked her to ring me back....but no surprise...no call.
Annie heard me leave the message and she said "Are you trying to make my teacher feel bad" .. I hate admit it, but I think I was trying to do that...(mouths of babes!!) I just feel like they were not good stewards of my very special child. If I had left her there, the pneumonia would have only gotten worse. No wonder, she could hardly walk in by herself.
I know I need to get over this...but I am still so angry.
Oh my gosh! Poor Annie! What makes me most angry is the teachers telling you she was doing better!Okay, here is my Annie story for today. I was able to get her into the doctor at 10:30am. (Everyone was like what are you back for...was there yesterday with Gretchen's broken thumb).

Used to be cat people until we lost our two after 12 years. Now we are dog people - and DD is alergic to cats now too.
Roger - will do!
Having lunch at Norway today with the Princesses too.
Last night we had dinner at Boma, and it was a Great dinner! I think Sophia had about 5 of those Zebra Domes for dessert, along with about 3 sccops of chocolate mousse. So far, not that crowded - I'll let you know how Epcot is. I think next week and the following week are the BIG Spring Break weeks. We may be lucky.
Then our youngest (Kayla) says to Santa before Christmas, "I want a cat that isn't dead"! Well, enough said . . . . . . we have the two new additions!
