OK, one more post after this, and I have 4500 . . .

Did I tell you we were at the Basketball game, and our team WON?

Now in the Elite Eight in the state. One more win and we make it to the Final Four!

Just got the picture. Thought it was hysterical! Note to self...put away that sweater for trips to crowded places :lmao: :lmao:

Please make sure we have fair warning so that we can set up the video equipment... or head in the oposite direction!!!

Karen

Jaide just got her own email account (only reason I like AOL, their parental controls are great and they send you a daily update of what sites they visited and who emails went to and came from) and has started emailing her friends from school. She is having fun with it.
Now at that pool date, are the mom's indulging in DOD's?! :rotfl2: I think if we set something up in the first few days, the rest of the cruise the kids will be off and going on their own.

On Mickey Pool duty, I can also be a "designated watcher" sorry guys, can't indulge too much in your DOD routine - too much alcohol makes me get super headaches - can't handle it like I used to. I am fine with a drink at dinner, and maybe one more. Since our kids may be the only ones on the ship, they should be easy to keep track of!

Now that I am at 4500, I can rest!

Good Night!

Better lower those expectations sistah! It's no where NEAR 'next best to the Grand"! But we will have fun and we each get our own bathroom!!!!
She's too modest -- Mrs. Woody and I had a terrific time visiting with her in February!

I pay for an AOL account which I allowed my GD to have her first email address. I too am a fan of AOL for young kids to have their first email and internet experiences.

My order is pool, spa, and then DOD!! Must be beautiful to have my DOD!!

Do any of you have HD TV? We just got it about a month ago, and I have to say, Discovery HD is worth the price of the TV! They showed some images from a new show coming March 25th called Planet Earth that were simply STUNNING. I really don't watch much other than sports and documentaries (and sci-fi) on TV, but I could watch that Discovery HD all day.

Love our HD TV - and that Planet Earth looks great. We've seen a behind the scenes at the movie theater in a pre-show and it was awesome on the big scree!

Anyhoo, we have HD and it's a love-hate relationship for me. It is a great picture, but the sound drives me nuts!! It's overly loud during the music and effects part of the program, then too soft to hear the voice parts of the show. My DH LOVES it, and I can't stand the sound! :crazy2: Oh well, typically husband/wife thang'

I thought the sound thing was just us!!!

We got our first HD TV this Christmas...and I'm amazed by it too! Especially the Discovery HD channel. I watch it in between my network favorites, but DH John watches mostly movies, so when there's not a good one on, he watches Discovery a lot of the time. Thanks for the heads up about the March 25th Planet Earth. I must Tivo. I never watch live TV anymore. TV without FF and Pause is out of the question! I'm so spoiled...

Does Tivo record in HD? I know our cable company offers an HD-DVR (also regular DVR) but I was more interested in Tivo as we could take it with us if we move.

That is so funny! Done like a true scrapbooker! Do you ever find yourself orchestrating a picture because you have the perfect stickers and paper for it?!?!

Does wearing a specific color you know will match paper, etc. count...

Whose kids actually take pictures and ask them to scrap it?! :rotfl2: My eldest started collecting little trinkets from places telling me that it would go great in a scrapbook. I used to go shopping before trips, but my supply closet is so stuffed I should really sell some stuff on ebay and make some cruise money. I completely adopted the saying "She who dies with the most supplies wins!" Sounds like we need to start a scrapbooking challenge here (like on 2 peas and other sites). Maybe we could do something like that on the other ship of thieves website (so we don't bore others here) and have a weekly or monthly type challenge? Sound good to anyone? And, we will just keep track of how many challenges we complete and we'll just need to plan a DOD celebration (1 DOD for every challenge done :lmao: For me, I would be sober :lmao: but some others might get a good buzz going!:rotfl2: )

I love the idea of scrapbooking challenges - I have several Disney albums to finish. I keep starting but never manage to finish. (My new Cricut arrived yesterday - totally agree with "She who dies with the most supplies wins!"

how about a DOD for every page we start (not finish?)

Good Night!

Congrats on 4500 & I bet I'll be with you watching at the pool because after my DOD (one) I'll be too zippoed to get up, oh yeah perhaps my walker will arrive by then to escort to away... Lisa (one of you) who is going to walk mw around? :rolleyes1

Sorry to steer you down the wrong path....I use Tivo as a generic term referring to any digital recorder. I have Direct TV's HD DVR. I call it a Tivo. We must be lucky coz we have many HD channels, including all the local networks, and we're getting many more soon. I hate Direct TV's customer service, but I love their programming. I have local Scranton network channels, I have HD network channels, I have NYC and LA network channels. It's great because you can record East Coast/West Coast times when there are four things you want to see at the same time and you can only record up to two at a time. I give my "Tivo" quite a workout. :happytv:

Hmmmm.....now I'm really curious! Off to PM Karen so she can e-mail it to me! ;) THEN I'm really going to sleep! Peering at computer through slits because it's too hard to keep my eyes open all the way. :guilty:

It is a pretty funny picture...I've been to Mardi Gras and thought I saw it all...this one takes the cake! And as I told Karen, I think the second woman was a tad too "mature" to be wearing a "sweater" like that..... :scared1:
