I watch it too because we used to live there. Having moved from that area, I actually hate to admit I've met MANY women just like them and I HATED it (once you meet me you'll understand why-I'm so not like those women)! A lot of the places they show on the program are places we used to frequent before we moved. It's disgusting/they're disgusting. That's one of the reasons I love living in Murrieta...there aren't women like that here...not yet anyway. Apparently there's another RH coming up, but with NY wives, which should be interesting. My girlfriend was volunteering a snack stand at her daughters softball game George (Lauri's now husband) came up with the two younger girls...Lauri's daughter and his daughter and she said he was on the phone the entire time and told the girls to buy whatever they wanted. He never got off the phone, even when the girls went to the tryout field. Loser parents. My BIL knows Slade (from last season)--they work in the same industry, and said he's exactly as the show depicts him...self absorbed. It's an interesting insight into some people's lives. Not everyone is like that but it's hard to believe they do exist!

What I don't understand is why people like that persist in going on TV to show the world what jerks they are. Those girls on the Hills and shows like that just floor me with their antics.

Well kids, I'm DISing from my laptop at home! Apparently my computer had worms! (OK..A worm). All fixed now, with fresh anti-virus and spyware installed. I haven't been able to get my e-mails to show up...will need help from Peg or my DBil for that (a password issue, I believe).

I've got 40 plus pages to catch up on (chatty weekend), but I think I'll just read the last 10 or so first, to see what's current.

About two or three more days and I pay off this cruise (well Visa pays DCL...I'm still paying)

speaking of movies- We went to see Cloverfield last night. Don't bother, it's not worth it, at least don't bother for a full price show, might not be too bad for a matinee. It wasn't bad, just wasn't as good as I wanted it to be....

We were finalists for Wife Swap after the first year but we decided the money was not worth it because they show the worst of people and while I think we lead a wonderful life, going to church, homeschooling, active in many community activities, etc. live in nice neighborhood, travel, etc. BUT that got me worried about who the swap would be with and after watching several years of the shop on and off I am glad we opted out! They even called back 1.5 years ago offering more money - and we still said no.

It would be terrible if they would send the swap wife on my disney cruise!

I hope you all don't mind but thought i'd share a few photos from today!

Well Started off with Classes at Williams/Sonoma it was good it was about making chili. The "lecturer" well she is a little scattered so my Mom and I spent the hour finding sarcastic remarks to make under our breath to each other about the class. We have gone twice with this lecturer and won't go back. We will try a different store out next week. The store is located in a new shopping center that is more like a "new" old downtown shopping way. Like back in the day when you would go downtown to the city and walk store to store. Here is a photo of what was near us in the area with Williams/Sonoma

From Class we went up to the Mall where I bought 2 pairs of black Gauchos for $20 at Lane Bryant and returned the 4 pairs of pants/shorts/capris that didn't fit from my order last week. I still am ahead by $30 in the deal!

Well after class and shopping we were hungry so we decided on TGI Friday's and while 3/4th's of what we got was good I had to send my entree of Chicken Fingers back those had to be the worst ever! But I had a strawberry lemonade and the Waiter felt bad that I had such a bad entree that he took it off the bill, gave me the Margarita glass he had "surprised" me with at the beginning of the meal for FREE!

Now I told my mom about Bobby last night and how he is quite the celebrity and well she said she wanted to make sure he didn't end up like the banana's on the advertisment card on the table and well that lead into hysterics after explaining Holly's comment about Tyler wanting to "peel" Bobby It was an ad for a banana Split!

From here we headed to Joann Fabrics for a few things I picked up my Fish Extender things and I'm PM'ing someone (forget who but will look that up on the website next) so Here goes nothing learning to sew! But it was a quick stop and we were on our way to Cabela's!!!

Well after a broken Scooter and broken display incident it has been decided that I won't be going in that portion of the store again unless I am mobile and well they were nice enough not to charge me to fix either thing
