DrHug sings. He played in a country band way, way back when we were young. He says he does not have as good of a voice since his heart surgery, but I still think he is very good! They do have Karaoke.

My family and I will be going on the repo w/ all of you this May. I'm so excited....We actually were on the 1st Westbound repo in 05 so I know this one is going to be alot of fun. My family consists of myself(30)DH Todd (32) DS Jacob(8 B-day on 5/15) and DD Alyssa(5). Do you guys have any group excursions planned?

I have a question for those of you who plan to send a box ahead. What size are you planning on using? I was just reading on the main board where Shirley (of the PerfectGift) was saying that the company we would ship to has a size and weight limit. The size box is 12x12x6. Is it me or does this seem very small. I would need to send multiple boxes. Weight limit is 20 lbs per box, which makes is not a problem.

I had not heard of a size limit. My niece sent a weeks worth of diapers for two babies and some baby food in one box. I am certain it had to be larger than that.

Yes, It was the Couples Spa Villa!!! DH booked and told me about it just before the trip! So unlike him, but it was so wonderful!

We are doing the See and Sea Island tour in Aruba too. Is the submarine the only bad part. I know it doesn't fully sumbmerge and I am fine with that. We have been on the Atlantis serval time and they are ok but not great too. I really just want to see as much as I can.

I also read on Cruise Critic from people who've taken this tour that if you're prone to motion sickness, then it's even worse on the sub, so that sorta sealed the deal for us, because my oldest does get seasick. He's fine on the ship for the most part, but I hate to put him on something that would do him in. So I'm just not sure what we'll do!

To tux or not to tux.

When we went on our 4 night cruise with DCL back in '06 I was told that a suit would be sufficient for formal night.

Now I am reading that there is semi-formal and formal night on this cruise. I am guessing that the suit is sufficient for semi-formal night, but what about formal? I'm a little concerned about the amount of clothing needed to pack for this trip. We are also spending days in the park (WDW) prior to the cruise and time in DL after the cruise. Not to mention we have an extra day of travel each way (to and from Vancouver, BC & home).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated ....

We will do the rent-a-tux.

Just been lurking for a bit since our plans have been a bit up in the air. It looks like we'll be cancelling this cruise as there are some family problems with my mother which it doesn't look like will be resolved in time to cruise. Have to admit that at times life sometimes sucks. We have been going back and forth about cancelling and haven't made the final decision yet but it's looking more and more like cancelling is the prudent thing to do (unfortunately). We'll probably end up just moving our deposit to a cruise in 2009 but it still sucks since I was so looking forward to this cruise.

I mentioned this option to DH, but he is concerned about the sizing being right. What happens is something is to big, or small? The only tuxes that we have rented before were for weddings and had to have a fitting for those.

As V said, they do have inventory on the ship. My DH tries on his tux the minute we get in the room - and we have always had something not quite fit. That being said, we just pick up the phone, let them know the problem, and we have always been able to get it fixed. Advice - try it on right away.

I am glad I am not the only one packing! But as I was counting the outfits I think I am way short...how many outfits is everyone bringing for kids? You know, they tend to mess up easier!

This is going to be hard! I don't know what I'll do, especially with 4 of them. So many clothes!

You can join a team if you like - you don't need to. You can just deliver whatever you want whenever you like! Teams just make it easier to (a) brainstorm what to get, (b) finance the purchase, and (c) deliver the gifts. If you would like to join a team, just PM me and I will add you. I am not making any more teams until after final payment since we will continue to have quite a few changes up until then. After that, the teams will get set. I think we are still up in the air as to the "deadline" for people to join for this activity. 90 days or 30 days...it seems to be up for discussion. There is an explaination at the website too - PJ has the info for the website.

I'm interested...it was exciting last year wasn't it!

Customer surveys have said that iphone users really don't care about having alot of music. But I bet all those who jailbroke their phones would love a 16gb Hd to hold all those cool apps.

A small sub-laptop might just be on the table tomorrow, I don't know that it will be a revamp of the Macbook.

Sophia and I will read another chapter in Harry Potter tonight. Finally got her interested, and we are mostly through the first book.

I bet she will fall in love with HP - most kids do. My eldest DS and I waited until midnight for the last book and he read it all in about 3 weeks.

Our son is in the 4th grade, and I am sure he will be hanging out in the clubs as much as possible. He loves being independent. I'm sure they will meet once on board.

I was just telling Wilson about your boys. I couldn't remember if you had a son the same age, but they are. Wil is in 2nd grade, he will be 8 in Feb. I hope we can get them to meet before cruise.
