The only issue with the atrium, could be that the photographer can never get back far enough to get everyone in and the stairs are too wide to include. We had issues with our large group in December 2006. We also tried the arial option and it did not help every much as the photographer is limited in where they take the shot from. I would say the Atrium would work for a group 75 or smaller only.

I have a confession to make.

The last two months of my life have been pretty much living H*LL. My mom has moved in (August) and then had surgery....4 weeks recovery. She pretty much tells me everything I do is wrong...from the way I do laundry, to the way I am raising my children, to the way I cook. She loves me, but she is so old and set in her ways....I have found so much patience.

I was pretty much getting used to living this way...then Frank got sick. For the last 2 months, I have been going form hospital to hospital.....worried sick about him.

Then there is my 2 girls.....I have never been too sure I could leave them for these 16 days.

And then I started thinking about Vanessa. She will leave us just a few weeks after I get back.

I was really thinking about cancelling. Daniel told me to do whatever I thought was best.

With the final payment due soon, I thought long and hard today and I made a decision .... I am GOING.

I floated the idea by my mom (she never knew I was even thinking about this cruise) and she called me wasteful and selfish. :-( She is supposed to be spending some time with each of my brothers....so maybe I can get her to spend some time with them while I am gone.

My DH is awesome...he is like just go and I will take care of everybody while you are gone....

Holly, I think you saying about your tax refund really made me decide I had to decide.

So anyway, that is a very long story to tell you that I need help making the rest of my plans. I have been checking flights and hotels.

I will post what I have found and anyone with ideas....please help me.

It sounds like this cruise is not only needed but well deserved by you. Go and enjoy yourself and then you can return home renewed and destressed!

Great weather here today - 40 and sunny! Just great to see the sun!

We saw the sun for a couple of minutes today also! It was a beautiful moment!

Us too! We LOVE it!

We bring our Mickey gloves to wave at the CM's at the terminal as we pull away. I love waiting until we clear the channel and head out into the open ocean. Just thinking about it gives me chills!

I wonder which is better...sending the boxes to the hotel or the ship... will they give you a problem at check in if you show up with an extra box or two?

They do not care how much you bring on board. If there are liquids in it ship to the hotel, if not ship to the port and let them haul it onboard for you.

If it were up to me, my vote would be to take one photo at one time and put it in one navigator. I think that's enough. If it gets too complicated, people will get too confused.

Instead of having a second rain date, I think if it's raining, we take the photo inside.....keep it simple!

Totally agree on keeping it simple.

One Time, photo happens then no matter what.

But, a 1st choice spot and a rain/wind spot, which would only apply if it was raining/way too windy (and have a person posted to re-direct people.)

So as to not miss people the shot, if taken in a rain/wind spot, would not happen until the re-direction person arrived.

lisa, for flights do a search on www.kayak.com it will show all flights that are avaliable, you can sort by time, cost etc. It then takes you to the providers website to book. It is just a search engine, you can book with who makes you comfortable.

I love Kayak, but it does not include Southwest. I search Kayak then check Southwest and go from there. What I really like about Kayak is that the cost they quote is the TOTAL cost, unlike Southwest where the quote does not include all the extra charges. For instance, our $99 fare on SW was really $112. Still good, but no $99.

Lisa, I feel so bad and so glad for your decision to go. We will have lots of time on this cruise just to relax and let our everyday worries be put on hold. And your everyday worries are quite big...so this will help you continue to be such a great help to all those around you. You have such a supportive DH - that is wonderful! Glad you are coming. just as information for those who might not be aware:

if you have park hoppers from WDW, you can use those at DL and DCA. They just have to call over to WDW and confirm your tickets. Even tho I have an AP from WDW, I always keep park hoppers for my visits to DL.

what about one day passes? We went for free dining in August and even though we have AP's, we had to buy one day tickets....
