Kari - how did they teach you? That was in my orientation class to the hospital!

let's see...
1. turn on water, adjusting temp to warm.
2. rinse hands, add at least 1 tsp soap
3. scrub vigorously in circular motions, being sure to scrub the nails of each hand against the opposite palm.
4. keeping hands pointed down rinse throughly.
5. get a paper towel with your elbow and dry your hands.
6. using a DIFFERENT paper towel turn off the water (this is the part screwed up on, used the same wet towel)
7. Using yet ANOTHER paper towel open the bathroom door and go about your business.

JUST KIDDING! I think it's nuts that there is no liability bringing all ages to a tequila factory but all else....

It's not a factory! You go to a roadside hut(shack or what ever you want to call it). You are outside and they show you the plants that they make it from and show you how they make it. It reminds me of how you would make moonshine. No government regulations that I know of. It is definitely worth seeing. You do get samples of 3 or 4 types of tequila.

I thought that Airtran will not let you make a change if the fare becomes lower. At least that's the way it was. Have they changed this policy?

Don't know about that but they gave me a credit of $10. Not much but will buy a couple of cokes!

That is so true because by the time you find a Post Office and everything your time plus your package cost could easily be over $25 - especially if you are mailing heavy things.

I think I will budget in $25 for the return flight and be done with it and not worry about that one BIG suitcase that we have.

There is 4 of us and my goal is to take 6 cases full and 2 duffles folded into the suitcases for "extra's" coming home.

We plan one case each and one carry one each, then duffles for the extras too.

Kathe - how's your back doing?? Still keeping those crazy retail hours?

Let me know what you think of Sweeney Todd.....I'm thinking of seeing it too, but I know the stage version is kindof "interesting".

Thanks for the  s - I'll take a real one from you when we meet up again :thumbsup2

Friends of ours went to see this and told us it was awful. I heard the story, and it is not up my alley. They said it was so gory that it almost became totally farcical because of all the gore.

Not interested myself.

Maybe next trip!

About the Colts and them being such gentlemen.....Dennis and I got to spend a few days in Indianapolis a few years ago and we found absolutely EVERYONE in that town to be friendly, helpful and polite. :thumbsup2 A exec of some company walked Dennis from the mall to his office to give him a free battery for his cell phone. (the Verizon store in the mall did not have one and this man - gentleman! - overheard and offered to give him one free as he had one from his old phone in his desk!) Indianapolis is not a place that I had on my must visit list, but it was a place that we enjoyed as much as any we have visited thanks to the people we met. :grouphug:

Oh my1 Our DD just turned 39 in Dec. :sad2: How can that be???:confused3

If you ever asked me when I was 29 where I thought I would live when I was 59 I would never have said Indy. At that time of my live I had lived only in upstate NY and Long Island. But, God has brought us here via DH's jobs and we are loving this city. The people are great! We have a downtown condo in a building that used to be a glove factory. If you ever come back, please get in touch!!

And MY BABY is 31. His brother is 27. there used to be some little boys in my life, but not now. Then again, they are such neat adult friends!! And through them we have met some other really great young adults--their friends and our Daughter-in-law!:bride:

Jan :earsgirl:

That sounds like my DH. He packs the car and has a bag left and says it won't fit. I have to go out and redo the car and show him it all fits with room to spare!

me too, I'm the packer in this family. I learned at the feet of the master, my dad. :worship: It drives me crazy how Paul just piles stuff on top of stuff making it impossible to get to what you need unless you unpack other stuff. :headache:

Hi there!
I am coordinating renting jeeps on the island. There is a rental facility at the port and for the day - depending on how many we need - it will be around $75including everything. My plan was to be off the ship early, tour to all the major sites and then end the day at one of the beaches. Anyone can feel free to break away at any point. Aruba is relatively small and not all that much chance of getting lost.

Oh yeah?

How about that girl who was there on Spring Break?

wow!
V will have the true answer, but my understanding is per jeep and each jeep can fit 4.
yep - per jeep holding 4.

I like those Jill, it would be great if you can find out where they bought them :goodvibes

They were!!!

Looking forward to your being back here 'full' time!!:dance3:

Will probably be the only chance for me doing a zip line, but I think I have decided against it now.

My brain says I am far too young to have a child that age - in fact my brain is telling me I AM that age!!!!:lmao:

We are THAT AGE!! but with more life experiences!:)

I mentioned before that I went to see the movie Juno and liked it a lot, I also mentioned I don't like horror or violent movies. So...it's girl's night out tomorrow, and we're seeing Sweeney Todd:eek: Has any one seen this yet, I know it got good reviews...and I love Johnny Depp...but am I going to be able to take my hands off my face to peek out at him at all:scared1:

Kathe

Ok I may not be the best judge (I love slasher films...) but the blood is limited to maybe a half dozen scenes and you can pretty much tell exactly when it's going to happen next. Plus I found the blood to be over the top so it seems almost comical and looks very fake.

I'm sure I'm scaring people now - my best friend and her son were looking at my Amazon wishlist when Christmas shopping this year and her son said "it's a good thing we know Aunt Lisa cause her list is scary!"

Oh yeah?

How about that girl who was there on Spring Break?

that is why I was thinking safety in numbers. I am not sure she was lost, I think she thought she was going somewhere with those boys, I really think they had something to do with it.

my friend just called me, she is booking a 2 week PC cruise in 2009 sailing from SanDiego to Fort Lauderdale.....airfare 1 way is almost $400 a pc....and an ocean view room for 2 is $4600 - I thought the room was ok but isn't that a high estimate on air?

That does seem high on the airfare - we're flying from San Diego to Orlando for this cruise for $162 each on Frontier.

I don't know who is in charge on lanyards but someone was. They really are helpful.

Didn't that person cancel? I think we are landyardless for now until someone claims the task.

If you get the info on where they came from I'd take on ordering and bringing them. I'd need someone to help with the design on cards to insert, but again I can print them and stuff them.
