Monica - what about this one

NO ignoring happening here!!!

You SHOULD dress up! Even if it's a pirate-like shirt and pants...it'll be fun!

I'm not much of a clothes person.

I have work clothes.
I have casual clothes.
I can do formal if necessary, because I occasionally attend formal Mess dinners at work (etiquette is full length dress, no bare shoulders).

Anything outside those parameters and I'm lost. :confused3

V, are you at work? Is it quiet?:lmao:

Absolutely! They're so darned ugly, they have to be comfy, or I'd never wear them. I've always had trouble with my heels aching after about an hour on my feet. I wore Dr. Scholl's shoes for a while and that helped. But once I got my first pair of Crocs, I almost never wear any other kind of shoe. I can be on my feet from morning until bedtime and my feet never get sore when wearing Crocs. And they're also (unlike the imitation brands) made of some special material that is odor resistant, so you don't get stinky feet when wearing them morning till night during summer. Crazy, but true! www.crocs.com has all that info and all the different kinds.

Wow, they are so comfy(ugly yes). I have pair I use as slippers which I take to WDW to wear there around the resort though I wouldn't go to the parks in them.
When I get home here from a shopping trip or longish walk and my feet ache, I can't wait to get in my crocs - like walking on air.

I vote for Tavern Wench.

But given that we've never met (yet) and I'm too chicken to ever dress up, feel free to ignore me.
:)

Now is the time.;)

Mmmm, Monica, what do you think???

Could someone please invent a gadget that feeds the DIS direct to my brain.

In my previous job I rarely had time to DIS, but when I did it was okay because no-one could see my screen.

In my new job I have plenty of time to DIS, but anyone walking by or through my office door (especially my boss, whose office I currently share) can see my screen. And I can't be seen to be online. So I spend more time clicking out of the DIS, every time I hear footsteps, than I do actually DIS-ing.

And if I keep increasing the amount of time I DIS at home then I don't think DH and I will make it to our 22nd anniversary on this cruise! :scared:

In main cabins on some cruise lines -- Royal Caribbean, NCL, Carnival -- toiletries offered are limited (in some cases to pump bottles of mystery soap affixed to the wall -- so you may want to make room in your luggage for shampoo, etc.).
Actually, I was pleasantly surprised at how much stuff Carnival gave us. Toothpaste, mouthwash, EmergenC mix (one of those immune system boosting drinks), facial wash, lotion, and a few other things I can't think of at the moment. I can't remember what the pump containers of shampoo & conditioner were in the shower, but they were labeled and were something nice. AND the best part is that we all got a big fluffy robe to wear during the cruise. Nice! :goodvibes

Kaylee - good news..on the party thread they are saying DCL has agreed to let us apply the OBC to an existing reservations!!! Drinks all around!

the robe would be nice. We had one when we were in the cat 3. My mom got me a really nice soft one for xmas but it would take up way too much room!

I struggle with dressing up as I am a very casual person dress wise and feel out of place dressed up.

Horribly ugly, but just like walking on a cloud! But Tyler would love the Spiderman ones, I'm sure! :thumbsup2

But today I did go out to walmart and found a hanging closet shelf organizer. It's the perfect width, velcros right on the rod and isn't too heavy (have the luggage weight thing to worry about). We tend to need more folded space than hanging. I think that will solve our problem. (I'm hoping, anyway.)

I love this idea! John/Amy what do you think, should I bring one of these?
I have a source.

Better than pming, if anyone wants to email me at nskjerven@yahoo.com to provide lanyard info, please feel free, no limit on incoming email there. That darn pm box is too small for me.

PJ, feel free to add that to the website.

I know we have talked of everyone will print their own lables/tags, but I think that might be hard for some, not everyone has printer capibilities. I'd like to suggest that we the team (miles, krissann, making memories & nskjerven) work on the printing and stuffing of lables/name cards. Making Memories and I are close in distance and I think too that our girls would love to take on a project like that with us :cool1: (that my friends was the bossy girl scout leader saying, yup my daughter and her fellow scout are up for some DIS community service)

We will have to know which cards people want of the ones PJ made for us. I would think we can do at least two per tag (I know people will want more than one because they are so darn cute!) More on that to come. Group let's talk over this issue and figure out the plan.

What I was thinking is to take the front image and the back image and place them side by side in say Word, print, cut and fold.

Well that is how I do it because I don't know any other way and the less cutting the better for me, lol. I can't cut straight lines even with a slide cutter, very sad. Also you can format the size of the image in word to match which ever tag holder our ladies are able to order, which will help them.

Also I am going to add the arrival and onboard times to the ports for the back of the tags (THANKS JACKIE) so that on one misses the boat!

Monica, I think they would both look good on you....I have one similar to the first one that is a long dress. Pick whichever one you like best. You'll look great no matter which you choose.
