We saw it on Broadway. It was not one of my favorites! Are you coming in early? If so let us know and we'll try and get together.

Right now our plans have not been finalized. There are two cars from here going down. We may go and visit our family in the middle Georgia area. My Dad's health is not very good and my husband's mother has final stage alzheimer's and we need to spend time with them. So kind of you for the invite.

Funny part is I was already going for spring break, then Nan planned to go for her Bday and then we twisted Stephs arm to get her going too. BUT........Nan's Bday dinner is after Steph and I leave :rotfl: So we will party but Steph and I are not getting fancy dinner

perhaps we need to plan a breakfast for that morning too???

Hmmm...lilo, goofy's story tellers.

Thanks...sounds like a good idea. Do you all bring them home and keep them, or leave them to have more room in the suitcase?

we bring it back, we've used the same one on all of the cruises we've been on.

Glad you all enjoyed the warm and sunny pics from Mexico, Thanks!:goodvibes

We went to Zihuatenejo, which is basically between Aca and PV. Zih is a small fishing village and not touristy at all. Around the corner is Ixtapa which is very touristy...high rises, Carlos & Charlie's type places etc. The resort we stayed at does not allow children, so not a great place for families...but if you are looking for something for families, I would do a search for rental homes. We looked at one down the road from us that had 3/4 bedrooms, 4 floors, pool, etc and was 800.00 per night for 8 people. There are several other places around there that are small and quaint like our Villas which might work as well. I understand that Carmen del Playa is a wonderful place as well, and our friends rented houses there a few years ago and had a wonderful time. Nan...if you want more info, PM or email me and I'll try and help out.

Thanks, we can talk on the ship. I will between now and then talk with our school friends to see if we can really get our dates on the calendar and make a plan. I've wanted to go for Thanksgiving, that sound fun. I also really want to go somewhere where someone has seen the place so we are assured it's good for families.

And when is your birthday? :rotfl: :lmao:

March 30th
are you busy that day? I'm sure that those people that just glance here once in a while just don't understand why this is so darn funny do they :rotfl2: :rotfl:

OK I had a crazy night and now I'm a lot of pages behind. I wanted to say that you can wear any color wig that is not of natural color. I got a pink one for champagne girls and green for the other day but if you already have one that is a different color you could wear that one.

BTW Gaylean is a west coast girl!

Sorry I meant to clear that up too, I think she might even be close to one of the gabby three while on the ship...are you sure you live in the southern part of the western state, you may just have to relocate up here with the rest of us crazies...:rotfl:

Since we have 2 rooms, would you all recommend 2 over the door shoe holders? We've never brought one before but it sounds like a great idea.

One dilemna we have right now is our 2 1/2 year old seems almost ready to move from his crib to a big boy bed. I'm hesitant to do it before the cruise as I'm afraid he will just keep getting up and coming into our cabin. Any advice? I think we'd have more space if we didn't have a crib in the boys room...we got very spoiled being in the Roy Suite on our last cruise. It was so great to have all that space. What we liked most about the suite was having full room service every morning and eating breakfast as a family on the big dining room table. We had them bring a high chair, and it worked great. Eggs, bacon, whatever we wanted. Sigh... I'm mourning my lost Cat. 1 again...

We've never had 2 cabins before though. On our DCL cruise before the last, we had cat. 4 (it was before our youngest was born). I've heard having two cabins is like having a suite without the concierge service.

Lisa, look at this as half full, instead of half empty. Remember you could have not come at all. With that change in perspective the 2 rooms will be great and like we've all talked about before the kids don't really get the difference between a cat 1 or a cat 9. As to the crib vs bed thing, do you think the little guy can turn to his older brother for comfort instead of you and DH? My sister and I are 11 years apart, when I was little I went to her first, then mom after that...Of course it might be different with brothers that sisters, but ya never know til you try it.

are most guys going with just the black tux? I am debating on the black tux versus the two jacket set. I can see the white jacket getting little hand marks all over it on the way to dinner!

John is renting them from the Floating Formals people, or whatever they are called. He always does the black and white jacket package.

how was the test drive?

I have zero motivation today. The dreariness outside is not helping either.

I'm back from a long day of being out and busy with the scouts, so now I'm having that zero motivation mode...

We did the Easter Parade this morning and then went to the retirement home and dyed eggs with the residences. It was fun, but exhausting...

6 more weeks :scared1: I better get my game on. I have a few things to shop for.

I'm one of the suit club early diners as well....

I want to be dressy enough to meet the minimum requirements, but my main goal is to dress comfortably so I can enjoy the food, the atmosphere and most of all be wearing something I know washes well (I always!!! drop something on my tie....I swear, every meal I have shared with Nancy, I spill something on my tie :confused3 ....she says it's one of my endearing faults...

I think I'm about to the limit of my motivation. I wish I'd thought to take a picture of Tyler's room at every 15 minute break I've been taking just to show him the progress. I think I do have a "before" pic because I remember taking a pic of Bobby looking at Tyler's room and I told Tyler he was afraid to go in there! :lmao: That's definitely one I never posted (I think) because I was embarrassed at the mess! Just unacceptable levels of clutter. Maybe tonight I'll post a before & after pic. It will be quite shocking.

Speaking of clutter, Marr did you kids recover from the diasters in my kids rooms???? For that matter, have you ????

Nothing could scare me. Molly's room is hard to walk in and Wilson has too much crap.

Red Jacket oversized and vest, big tie, highwaisted black/ or dark brown pants, white big collared button up shirt, big floppy tie. Then brown or white bunny tail and ears. Then you need the big card for those scenes that he is with the queen.

If you go without the pants, a pair of sweats paints (white or brown), tapered at the bottom, and stuffing for the upper leg. To keep the stuffing in place line the sweats with the stuffing in between the layers.

Good luck on this, I have been the wardrobe mistress on several plays, favorite project rip off jeans for the Greased Lighting scene in Grease.

High school, senior year. Velcro seams. Five good looking guys some hips amovin' and funny boxers.
They made everyone in the cast and crew sing for the final carnival scene, my one and only time on stage, thank gosh.

That play was crazy, prom dress, rip off jeans, poodle skirts, pink satin jackets, leather jackets, pedal pushers, and baby doll pjs for the sleep-over scene. I did so much shopping and sewing for that play. I was also the yearbook editor, don't know what I was thinking.

:sad2: :snooty: :sad2: :snooty: :sad2:

I'll just stay home and watch what's left of the snow melt... :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

I wasn't invited either!

Now that's not true and you know it!!! You can all come and join us at Disneyland. Remember I even made dinner reservations with room for 2 extra in case anyone wanted to join. Just jump on a flight and come party with us :dance3: MARCH 30th in case you forgot :lmao: :lmao:

ok, High School makes sense, at junior high they aren't ready for something so risque...Great memories huh? I was in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown my freshman year, I was Snoopy...:goodvibes

So are you all REALLY doing this? What night? Is it on the calendar yet? If the night works, I'm game!
Lisa

Well we had not set a night YET but a few people had said they would like to do it on the Shots around the Ship night. So that may end up being the date. Tipsy with a wig on, it might really to being my Britney moment (lets hope not) However to your other question the answer is yes I am really wearing a wig and already know a few of us have ordered wigs special for this. I have bought a few so I would have options however I have a pink one for Champagne girls night and a green one in Dis green and another one I bought because I thought it was cute :thumbsup2

Yes we have used one both times we have cruised with Brent. They only go about half of the bed(maybe a little more) but it worked, except Brent kept almost falling off the end of the bed! I didn't get much sleep! We have already made one for the end of the bed for this cruise.

That will work, the one we use here at home only covers the top portion of the bed. Patrick is too tall to roll off the end of the bed!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

No green dresses here...I draw the line at a wig! I am going to suprise dd with our disneyland trip. Marr will pick us up at my work and then we're off! My daughter will be so excited. It'll be a quick trip, but she'll have fun. Thanks to marr and nan for the arm twisting and cost cutting. Still no disney after the cruise...no matter how much twisting then...have to draw the line somewhere!
It's another beautiful day here in california. We have my dd's piano recital today and my brother is on his way down from sac to help me finish...oh who am i kidding...to finish the retaining wall. Then I will drag him to see his nieces recital. She's with her dad this weekend so hopefully they show up on time!

Have a good weekend..back to catch up with ellen.

Disneyland after the cruise..............Steph you must remember NEVER SAY NEVER :rotfl2:
