Bought a sundress this morning. Not the sort you hang around in, probably slightly more dressy. Again, it took trying on about 10 before a style looked anywhere near decent.

You sound just like me! Nothing fits me right. I cannot wear a dress. Has to be a top and bottom. I HATE shopping for clothes. I am making do with what I have for this cruise. Went shopping once, found nothing, I am done!

:sad2: That's me. I've tried loads of skirts on too and not all those fit very well either.

I have some lovely things in my wardrobe that are too small though!!!

Good news, my documents have made it off of 95!!

It is so frustrating, isn't it? I have to buy slacks or skirts with at least partial elastic waists in order for them to fit half way decent. And don't even get me started on bathing suits or shoes! What a nightmare that is!:scared1:

I know what you are talking about. :sad1:

it happens way more than most people think. we have several gators that are living in the intercoastal that come up on land and are usually found in people's pool areas. luckily they make it back without having to be destroyed.

Well maybe we will see some this time. I will say one of the ones we saw at the farm was the biggest one I've ever seen. It tried to climb the fence to get us!

For those of you wondering

Here is a picture of two ships doing a replentishment at sea (ras)

HMCS Preserver and HMCS Ottawa

Somehow I cannot see the Magic doing the same thing....:lmao:

We have asked the captain before about this. They will load everything in Port Canaveral, and if they need to bring in anything else they will fly it in from the United States and load it on one of our stops. We were also concerned last year about them having to refuel the ship 1/2 way across the Atlantic and Captain Henry told us that would not be necessary as they have more than enough fuel to "go the distance"! I can't imagine they would need to put anything on in Aruba since we will have only been gone for 4 days. If we get anything, my guess it will be in Acapulco. They had to fly in some stuff in Acapulco last time and we hung out in the bay until the stuff came (it was for the shows in the Walt Disney Theater).

I wonder what the fuel cost is in Aruba vs. United States. I know that DCL buys blocks of fuel way in advance (I think Capt. Henry said like 6 months), but since Aruba is not a normal stop, wonder if they will top off the tanks in Aruba or not?

My fish extenders are pretty plain compared to others I have seen. When I first made them I THOUGHT they were VERY artsy-fartzy, but now I realize my limitations!

BUT THEY DO hold gifts!!!!!

Mine will be a bag or basket of some sort, with no decorations :scared: This is a last minute thing since I just signed up for the Secret Mickey thing.

When I use to live in Fort Myers, Fl. There was a gator that was always in a drainage ditch near our house. The bad thing about it was during rainy season I was always worried that the gator would make his way to our house. The dry drainage ditch was behind my house. When we live there many years ago the new subdivison where we live was farm land. It's been years since we went and it has really grown up I'm sure. We went there 10 years after we left, the trees and shrubs had grown. All the lots were full. We didn't reconize the place. Wish we had of bought a condo way back then. :sad2: This was when the boom had just started there.

:scared1: :scared1: I never even see stray dogs around here!

I am going with the minimalist approach, as in K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid)
I believe in keeping the beauty of the original design and not overembelishing.
(am I shoveling enough bs?)

Less is more ;) ;)

My FE has already been on a cruise and it is completely plain, lol.

I am thinking about doing some printed fabric irons, but not sure yet, lol. Maybe just my name on one pocket. It will probably end of crooked.

Pj

Every patch on Brooke's girl scout uniform is crooked. I can't figure those things out!

Goodmorning all,
Here is your hallway song of the day... if you play it in your hallway and put a fish next to your bedroom door you'll really get in the mood.

Thanks Kelly! I watched and looked for Jamie. There she was in the background, to the left of the band in the red shirt!  Not that anyone else could find her. Also at the end, they moved everyone to the bleachers behind the basket, so Robert and I are to the right of the backboard about 4 rows up. I'm sure everyone can find us! They are starting to film HSM III here this week!

Speaking of Youtube, anyone see the video of the guy stuck in the elevator for over 40 hours?

I don't have a fish extender. If I did it would be a 'redneck fish extender' ...a plastic grocery bag. Not a creative bone in my body.

I now have a door sign, though!:woohoo: A wonderful DISer we have cruised with twice made one for me. His screen name is grumpy-gramps and he is anything but grumpy. What a thoughtful, kind man he is. He will be on our Sept. 09 Tortola cruise.

We have been having unbelievably beautiful weather for this time of year. It has been just gorgeous outside.:goodvibes

UUMMM a trash bag is an idea. That would look better than my magnets!

Who doesn't.....oh yeah Marr!

My docs are in Orlando this morning. They must be ready to get on that UPS plane and head west! They are scheduled for delivery on Thursday.

Bathing suits make me cry. I still haven't looked because I don't want to be sad that day.

Do they make Sea Monkey repellent?
I saw a product in a sales ad yesterday for "Monkey Butt" ointment and the picture showed a monkey with a red butt! What the heck IS that? :rotfl2: I should try to take a picture of it and post it later tonight. :lmao:

Good morning everyone! Well, today Ryan's home sick (yesterday it was Drew)...it's a stomache bug of some sort, fortunately the 24 hour type, compliments of my MIL (which is what happens when DH doesn't use his common sense and brings the kids over there while she and her visiting brother were both sick with the bug). I'm actually starting to feel queasy too. Oh well, just what we needed right before our trip.

Have a great day everyone!!!
