And if you are new to cruising, I think DCL sends them to your TA - and then it depends if your TA sends them our promptly - We used a TA once (never again) and they let the DCL docs sit in their office for what seems like eons.....everyone on the web had them and we could not understand why we in Fl did not....HAH - it was TA.

My TA emails me everyday to tell me she doesn't have them and as soon as she gets them, they are out the door to me!!

I liked our Navigator's Verandah last cruise. Very snug and private. I would book one again to save a little money. I loved the aft position too and think I will miss the convenience of nipping up to get drinks.

The only SR request I put in for this cruise was for a plexiglass verandah.

We had one our first cruise and loved it, so we asked for it again....didn't get it but got a stateroom 4 down the hall from it...loved being able to dash up stairs and grab something

You would think so, to keep warm, but in the states only naughty little boys and girls receive lumps of coal in their stockings.....unless you are from the South and they you get switches in your stocking for being bad.....(switches are twigs from trees that are used to whip bad little boys).

OH I remember switches! :scared1: My mom's family was from Oklahoma and bad little girls knew about the switches too!!

Still reading, but wanted to make sure I posted some replies....

Lisa, Jill, and Ian - I'm so sorry that work has been so crappy lately. Just think that this is the storm before the calm.....3 weeks from today (if not earlier) you will be saying goodbye for 2+ weeks. Hang in there and vent to us whenever it's needed.

John - thank you so much for keeping us updated as to Manuel's condition even though you're exhausted. Thank you also for sharing the stories about the students and the others who have come to visit. He is loved by many, and has helped many out and it shows what kind of a man he is. He is being watched over and prayers continue to go out to him, you and your family. :grouphug:

Deb - I'm SO proud of you & John. You guys have dealt w/ so much in this past year, and to be able to say that you're on the 4th month of nonsmoking - it's amazing. My hat goes off to you - I know how hard this is.. my mother has tried many times over the years to quit and has even gone for months before starting back up. :grouphug:

Gydell - is everything in order now w/ the gas station mgr?

In Oregon? Really?

Not sure I have seen a full serve station in FL for years?????

Yep, it is not really full service like we remember, but they do pump the gas for you. NICE!! They keep having us vote to repeal this law saying it will save us $$, but we pay about 10 cents less here than across the borders in WA and CA so that doesn't fly and we keep voting to keep it. 8 times in 20 years we have voted on this. :confused3 It gives lots of kids jobs too!

Deborah - for some reason the Tiffany website wouldn't let me order anything last night.....I kept getting to the last page (after putting in all the info and qty of 1 and pressing the confirm or purchase button) and then I'd get an error and it wouldn't go any further.

I'm going to pm you my address - try to order it from home and just send it to my address. If that doesn't work I'll contact the company.

Can someone please bring me back some park maps from DL and let me have them onboard? I can then get my bearings before getting there.

Also, we will have a day there(Monday) when I haven't booked a sit down meal. Thought that might be a bit of a change!!!:lmao: Which CS would you recommend? Thanks.

We will bring you some. We will be at DL a couple of days before we fly to MCO.

First, Someone posted, I think in the last part, some over the counter recommendations for Holly's migraines. I would appreciate it if they would post them again. I can only take Excedrin for them right now but am looking for something else that might work since my doctor doesn't like me on Excedrin.

DrHug (our DIS pharmacist) recommended trying Midol, then there was another that Holly tried. Don't know the name of it.

Here is the list of people confirmed for the 17th - with the changes/updates.

KIDS POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

Hi everyone. I know there was a bunch of talk about this earlier and then we were all kind of waiting to see what the schools actually wanted from the kids. What was the final decision? Was everyone going to make up their own powerpoint page on themselves to share with eachother? I was thinking it might work better to get those done before the cruise and email them to eachother so the report could be started. Or, all the pages could be emailed to one person and then combined into a report that could be burned on a cd and given to each kid. I am ok starting up an email group of all of the parents (off the board) so we can talk about how we want to do this, if we want to continue with this...so

If you are interested in having your child work with the group on the PC powerpoint......PM me your email address and info and I'll try and get something together over the weekend. I was going to have Jaide make up a page this weekend as a demo.

I ordered mine by email(by arrangement and paying by Paypal).

Thanks Angie.:thumbsup2 :dance3:
