Is anyone that's going to the DIS meet on saturday planning on spending the night? I just got the Crowne Plaza Resort Anaheim for 45.00 at priceline. Just wanted to pass this on to anyone who is looking.

Great price - no one would accept $50 for this past Saturday - we ended up with a $75 and the Holiday Inn on Manchester right by the 5. Crowne Plaza is one we always hope to get.

We had thought about spending the night but after figuring our what our Mouseadventure weekend cost we'll be driving home :thumbsup2

Hoping to move? Why leave our sunny state? California ROCKS...aside from the education system, housing market and cost of living:rotfl:

We're East Coasters at heart! Would love to get back to PA but there just aren't any archaeology jobs there so living by Mickey is the next best thing :thumbsup2

CLEAR YOUR PM BOX...

ya, I'm not Robin today, nor have I been for seems like a week or so huh.

I think I should just take my crabby self and go play in another sandbox, wanna join me?

No switchin sandboxes after you "suggested" I come back to this one!!! Rum Nan and let it go my friend!!!!

It's actually easy. Easier then I thought it would be. Just go to Priceline, select bid or name your price, choose the area you want, I chose the Disneyland area, the star level, choose 3 star, and then the price you are willing to pay. If your bid is accepted then you find out which hotel. You do have to enter your payment method, cause if they accept your bid, your card will be charged. So make sure you will for sure be going. But I can't beat the price. This is only my second time using price line and both times I've gotten the same hotel. And there is a shuttle that picks up right out side too.

Are you able to specify King or two queens???

My first time I used PL was for bubba's birthday in Feb and could not get any lower the 75. It was also at the Crowne Plaza.

Oh man! I was just looking at expedia today. Did you have to 'bid' for it...and did you bid on that hotel specifically? (Haven't used Priceline...not sure how it works.)

$45 I CAN AFFORD....all by my onesies as Capt Jack would say!

.

This has probably already been answered (I'm still behind) but just in case -

Yep this would be a bid for a 3-start in the Disneyland area.

We do this all the time and the hotels we've gotten for between $45 and $75 are :

Marriott
Hilton
Hilton Suites
Doubletree
Crown Plaza
Holiday Inn

Does anyone have room? I thought it was too late so I didn't say anything.

Good point...I'm not sure if there is room. For some reason I thought the tables could hold 16. If it is 14, we have 14 currently. I think we were going to create some sort of internal Palo list on the mini-navigator that let people know if they wanted to join a dinner or brunch if possible?? Maybe we can have a PB or PD next to our names/cabins??

Are you able to specify King or two queens???

No, but I was able to when we check in. We had two queens. Last time I request on check in a non smoking room, which we got, but the person before us did not obey the no smoking rule. The room STUNK. They did move us right away.

Are you able to specify King or two queens???

Nope - the only thing they will guarantee is it will sleep 2.

We've never had a problem calling the hotel directly after receiving our confimation and adding requests such as 2 beds and non-smoking.

I don't know what I'm missing so whatever!
