I am going to my eye exam soon. John got his yesterday...nice to have new contacts. We've been due for a while. Now to make dental, derm, and physical appts! Haley goes for her 3 year check up and Samantha too the end of the week. She didn't want to get into the carseat today, but I a big girl mommy, I a big girl!

Not only do you have to keep up with the enforcing of the time out, once all is over and forgiven you then have to behave as though nothing happened and not continue the punishment with being cross. So hard, but worth it in the end.

Well it's official I just got my signed "time off request form" so I will get paid for this cruise. note I didn't say I could come on it cause I was coming weather I got paid or not!!

Yes, hope everyone voted for the 17 year old David Archuleta. He's from Utah and a friend of my daughter's although she doesn't see him real often anymore. They used to perform together!

He gets my vote. I told my dh there's the winner. They do have a talented bunch. Each year they seem to be getting better.

There is a Wilsons outlet in Vacaville, Napa and Petaluma. They do have great deals sometimes!

They just announced that they are closing the Wilson's regular store near us... (but there are alot of leather places up here (local) that do custom work that is beautiful...

I did that at the terminal last Dec. There was a whole family in lime green Mickey shirts, then there were all us DISers in our lime green Mickey shirts! The family looked at me like I was from a lime green planet when I walked up to them and asked if the were DISers. Uh, no.......

decided I should get the home flights too, not great pricing here 81.50 SNA to SJC, so much for those great Southwest rates, not! they wanted 120. We are flying AA. Leaving Monday at ~8pm. So we'll leave the park that day around 5pm

If you get the flights...keep an eye out for the DING things...you may get credit for other flights... that's what I did for my trip last week to TX and I got enough back for my flights to MCO!!!

Good Morning

I am back to English Class today for two hours every wed morning.

As my english is hopeless cos I miss out hearing everyday. That why!!

I know I love this forum and my english sometime bad.

The weather is absolutely freezing today. brrrrrrrrr no snow but very cold.

We have another wind chill weather alert today. It is 8F and the wind chill will be as bad as -25F.

So, I have on the long underwear, 2 pairs of socks, a sweater, scarf, down parka, down mittens and am going to head out and wait for the bus and head to work.

But are they bedazzled???

Jackie... it looks like Tink is getting "in trouble"... Must call the society for abuse of Pixies and report this one!!! Ok...maybe not...

I love cows! We used to have between 20 and 30 head in our pasture (depending on new babies and who had been slaughtered! ) I loved sitting on the deck and watching them. They have an incredible social structure in the herd. One year we had 6 babies within a few days (the bull had been busy!) and the moms would set up a "daycare for calves." They would get all the babies in a corner and then a couple of the moms would stay with them and the others would go graze and "rest up without the kids." They would then switch off so each mom had a turn away from the babies. Amazing! They would not let the "adolescent cows" near the babies - they would butt them away - but the "childrend cows" were welcome to nose around the babies and check them out. Very fun to watch!

I couldn't have livestock of my own...they would all be named and be pets for me... My aunt and uncle had a farm and couldn't eat the lamb chops afte they remembered that they were actually Bambi Chops...

Speaking of photos - For the returning PC Cruisers, what is the photo budget for this trip???? We want all the special prints but is there a good package?

That reminds me, several years ago I read a sequel to P&P - not by Jane Austen, obviously! Can't remember what it's called or who it's by, which isn't much help is it. Sorry. What I do remember is that I didn't much like it. I didn't agree with the author's ideas of how the marriage would be.
