Well we got some bad news today and need some prayers.

I was supposed to spend the first half of my day scrapping with my mom, she even took the day off. Well this morning she called to say her friend who has lukemia was on life support and they think she was not going to make it. SHe was going to visit her, I told her to stay as long as she needed we would do our things another day. They think the chemo instead of helping her is killing her. She has a daughter 26 year old daughter and new grandson. Yesterday she was haullcinating and today she is unresponsive. She still has a chance but it is small.

Well, let's see.....Real Life

2 houses (plus my moms house and FIL house to worry about)
College Student (who brings 16 of his closest friends to stay with us )
Sick and grumpy mother
Sick but nice (but demanding) FIL
Exchange Student (violinist and Hollister employee (MOM drive me to work)
3 cats (MOM feed me)
1 dog (MOM feed me ... MOM walk me)
a DH with two jobs and about 30 hours of volunteer on top of that
1 daughter: (straight A student, girl scout, a million friends (MOM drive me here ) job 3 nights a week (MOM drive me to work) bible study attender (MOM drive me to church)
another daughter: well let's see - 3 productions (Alice in Wonderland - Lead Role) (Footloose - Practice 5 times a week now as the show is in 2 weeks) (Nifty Fifty - Lead Role)(13 hours of dance every week and an all weekend competion the coming weekend) Girl Scout, Teaches bible study to 4and 5 year olds (MOM drive me to church)

OMG and I have a FULL TIME JOB straight commission with budgets that if I don't make them (2500 people have the same job I have in the USA and my budget is the 10th largest in the nation) I get called in by the Region VP and I have to drive 100 miles to meet with him......

Okay....just decided I am going to the doctor to get some drugs!!

LISA! How in the world do you do all this?! I'm always in awe of you. A true Superwoman! Hey.....you ever see the movie "Multiplicity" with Michael Keaton? That's what you need to do!

My DMIL had this happen with Open Pit BBQ sauce.

My DSlL, in San Jose, requested she bring several bottles with her on a flight out from Ohio. It wasn't pretty. They had to throw most of their clothes out. The sauce stained just about everything, including the suitcase.

One of our Aussie cruisers was going to do some bush dancing. I wonder if it is still on. all the details were on the other website now closed and could do with being on our 1st page.

That remind me that when I was with contikki in Australia and I had been dancing in barn, what a good laugh, I wonder if it called bush dancing. Wow, I will be there

We finally got a Cheesecake Factory here about 4 months ago, but I have stayed away and not gone in. That place is dangerous.

Ok, and for the record. I am not an alcoholic. I know I profess my love of libations on this board, but at home I never drink. Even in social situations, it's very rare, cause I'm usually driving myself home and I want to make it there!
So when I go on vacation, I go WILD. No driving, means I can imbibe.

We have taken on treats, snacks, drinks, etc., etc., every time we have cruised and have never been questioned or stopped.

Last time our friend, Michael, brought on champagne and when he sent his cooler through security, the cooler tipped and ice water was going every where. It was pretty comical!
