If it helps anyone, I'm a Weight Watchers meeting leader.

Ian - you KNOW that I need all the help I can get!!:rotfl:

BTW - did you get the email w/ the fish extender pics?

I saw my mom over Christmas. She commented on my recent weight loss by saying " You can really tell you've lost weight, you can see it in your face. When your face was fuller you had less wrinkles" :faint:

Ever feel like you can't win? I know I do some days.
Jan :earsgirl:

WHAT?! That's ABSURD! I'd be miserable if I were married at that age. Sure, it's wonderful for many people, but I was WAY too immature and so not ready to be married at 21 or 22. Good grief!

Of course, had there been a Dr. Hug in my life when I was 17, I would have been happily married, but that just doesn't happen too often.

I agree 100%!

Hi, I posted over there about immunizations. Here's my humble opinion, I like to be prepared.

I am a nurse and a Girl Scout.

I would definately update your tetanus if needed. It's something you should do anyway. Tetanus boosters can give you a sore arm for a few days, so why suffer on your vacation, if the need arose.

Hep A shots. Like I said in the other post, you can get it anywhere, from eating contaminated foods. Mexico has a high risk for Hep A. Click on the countries where hepatitis A is common
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/hepatitis/a/fact.htm

Hep B shots. You are less likely to have a problem here in the states, with blood products as they are tested. However, in other countries are you willing to take that risk if the need should arise? I for one am not.

Hi

Oh it was you to post another forum, anyway I have an appointment with Nurse next Thursday for Tetenus? then will talk about injection as I got the forms for 4 of us to fill in.

Well been to the hairdressers this morning. I had a little moan about how he did it last time, but of course it was my hair at fault!!

Anyway he has cut loads off and put highlights through. It suits me much better, but he keeps saying 'we' are growing this (pointing to top of hair)down, then proceeds to cut it!!!:lmao: I love it though - until I wash it that is!

We might just be getting somewhere with it by the time the cruise comes along.

Also - it costs an arm and a leg!!!:scared1: Frightening.

Aye, I know very expensive.

Nan, I hope you're feeling better today. I certainly can relate to those awful migraines. I actually had one start last night, thought it was because I hadn't eaten much (thus the pizza delivery), but it's still here this morning. Horrible sleep because every time I rolled over in my sleep, the throbbing would wake me up. I feel your pain sister!

I hate migraines. I usualy had it before very bad. Best way to go to bed with dark, that helped me.

Newborns are so cute, don't you just want cuddle. :goodvibes

Aye, I know I wish to give her cuddle too.

There are times I wish I could send her to Scotland, or somewhere else far away . . . she is a little over two years old, and for some reason, for the first time in about a year, she decided she wanted to wet in the living room last night!

Lovely photo, and beautiful name.

Sophia will be eight years old this Sunday.

John, you make me :lmao: about lovely dog, well just send it over to Bonnie Scotland :thumbsup2 I am happy to have her as she is so beautiful. However, we still waiting for hearing for the dog!!

Sophia will be 8, my god, she look big girl, Tell her HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY and my daughter is 8 too.

Ok leaving for the eye doctor, hopefully they can figure out what is wrong with me. I have been having terrible headaches and blurred vision.

look like Migarine??

My grandmother told me that I was an old maid when I was 21 (or 22) as all her other granddaughters were already married by that age.

Oh that was not very nice. As you are superb anyway.

I read everybody talking about mum, grandmother etc.

What about mil, I watched the film last Sunday it called Monster In Law :rotfl2: :lmao:

:rotfl2: OK John, it's a deal! But there are no takers for Bobby! Come on everybody, he really wants to fill more pages in his passport. It's lots of fun to have a giant banana around! Just PM me or John....or maybe both so I know where to send his suitcase. Sound good? Hmmm....how to explain to Tyler that Bobby's suitcase is leaving, but leaky Bobby is staying. MIght be better to have leaky Bobby "disappear" at the same time as the suitcase. Then there will be no questions. I've already told him Bobby's ready to continue his travels so he can visit more fellow cruisers. Tyler tells me it's OK because he knows he'll get to see Bobby again on the cruise. :thumbsup2
I would take him, but I think he needs to end up in Fl to board the ship right?

That's why we stopped buying souvenirs. We buy an ornament for our Christmas tree from the places we visit. Every year it is so fun to decorate the tree and reminisce about our trips.
we do do this as well

:scared1: 21!!
John and I were married here and in Jamiaca as well, on our Jamaician certificate, it lists me as a spinster!

I am so excited, the cafe across the street has my favorite lunch! Clam chowder in a bread bowl with a side ceasar salad!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if DCL does/would hold Weight Watchers meetings onboard? The only time I successfully lost weight was with Weight Watchers (which means I'd better start going again if I'm going to lose this weight before the cruise. 12 pounds to go). Anyway, DCL has the Friends of Bill W. meetings. I just wondered about WW since we'll be onboard for 2 weeks. Maybe that's the absolute last thing anybody wants to do on a cruise. :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Confession time about "Friends of Bill W". I went on my first DCL cruise with my sister. We kept seeing the Friends of Bill W meetings in the Navigator and kept commenting on how there must be some kind of reunion group on board. We even joked about wanting to crash the party some morning to see what it was all about. Wouldn't we have gotten a surprise. It wasn't until I got home that my DH just gave me that "duh" look and said that's AA. I can just imagine any fellow passengers who overheard my sister and I and thought what a couple of nitwits. :sad2:

I did not know what it was either. DrHug had to 'splain it to me.:confused3 It is good they have that available though with all the temptations with alcohol all around. Does WW get a "cut" when meetings are held? Would DCL have to contract with them? We do have our own WW leader on board and could set up something unofficial on our own if she were willing.

How awful Monica! Well, you know all of us here think you look perfect! :grouphug:

Holly - thanks for that, but faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from it!!
My thought/goal every day is to look "half way decent"

My grandmother told me that I was an old maid when I was 21 (or 22) as all her other granddaughters were already married by that age.

The customs and standards were so different in our grandmother's day. My grandma was thrilled when I married!! ;) :rolleyes1

Jill - hopefully he can figure it out  Keep us informed.

Deborah - thanks for that  .

No, I think whoever has him last just packs him in their suitcase? Not sure about that. But if you do want him, John will be happy to send you the non-leaky Bobby and I'll send his suitcase with passport, so you'd need to PM both of us your address. Your girls would go NUTS over him, if they have the same reaction as Tyler!

Monica, you must have missed my rant....We are ALL BEAUTIFUL!! ;) And there were a lot of amens to that, so it must be correct!!

I went for the mask fitting yesterday, and did walk away w/ my cpap machine. I'm going to MD this weekend (and still need to buy the distilled water and surge protector) so will not start w/ it until probably Tuesday. Kind of cute...it even came w/ it's own carrying bag.
