Kathe,

I don't even have a dress yet so your doing good. I think anything nice will be fine. Myself and DD(11) is who I am stressing about. The little one should be fine. That 11 year old age is hard to find for.

I am sure you will see all types of dresses from not so dressy to very formal. I have one full length one and one knee length one that I will be wearing for the 2 nights. I think you should be fine (at least I hope so or I need to go shopping, which isn't really a bad thing:lmao: )

Thanks Kaylee:goodvibes I've got two knee length dresses that I think will be okay then. I hate to buy something that I might not wear again...of course if I bought a long one maybe I'd just have to book another cruise so it wouldn't go to waste;)

Kathe

Yup! :thumbsup2

As for the cars, I LOVE my toyota. My mom just got the Hybrid Highlander and loves it. Our neighbor has the FT and I have never heard her complain!

Love  my little Toyota RAV4 too! It goes in for it's 65,000 check up tomorrow.

Ladies, for formal night, I was planning on wearing a dress I already own, it's knee length. Am I going to look out of place:confused3 Do most of you wear floor length? DDD+D (well, actually just DDD for this question;) ) what's everyone wearing?

Kathe

Well, if I have to bring what I already own, technically it is floor length...as it's PANTS with panels over it that make it look like a skirt...kind of hard to describe. It looked nice walking and dancing, but was kind of a pain when sitting down. I may go with a knee length skirt and sparkly top for the other formal night. :confused3 Who knows, you may see me in the same thing both nights.

You'll see lots of knee length and tea length dresses on formal night.

My son taught me--there is a button called PRNT SCREEN and then you go to a PAINT program and when it opens you hit PASTE and there is the whole computer screen you had been looking at. You can do a CROP and then open a new PAINT page and PASTE. Then, viola, there is the picture you want.

BUT

if you give me a minute or three, I will see if I can get it onto the boards here. Can you copy it from a post?

Jan :earsgirl:

I have been looking all over my monitor for print screen, and low and behold there it is on my keyboard. DOH!

Disboard is educational!!! :thumbsup2 Thanks, I have learned something new!!!!

Yes, 11 is a hard age isn't it? I imagine she is quite opinionated as to what she wants and doesn't want?;) Does she like dressing up? I used to hate shopping for clothes for my daughter, I wanted her to look like my little girl, she wanted to look 20 something  Of course, now that she is 20 something we enjoy shopping together again :)

Filled out all my on line info. Also denied my dining mates access to my KTW card....sorry kids.

My excursions come to $245, plus a little more for a taxi here or there and lunch at the dolphin/sea lion place and a tip or two. Think I'll start setting aside some cash in an envelope for that stuff....just pull the stray $5 out of my wallet every once and a while. OR...set money aside for every time I DON'T order a cola with a meal out...that would add up pretty quick. :thumbsup2

Speaking of the men's surgery - When my dd was in kindergarden we had a puppy that we had neutered. We told dd that we didn't want any puppies. A few weeks later my dh had the surgery. My dd asked why her dd couldn't walk and he told her the truth that we were not going to have anymore children. My dd went to school and told everyone that her dad had been neutered. He was so embrassed.

:rotfl: A friend told me that her mother loved telling people that she was an IT. She met a guy at a party once who used to say the same thing so they had a lovely time comparing notes and being ITs together. They would not let anyone join their conversation who was not an IT. They made themselves an exclusive group. :rotfl2:

It was my DH's idea too. He said it was not a big deal. The important stuff is still there to produce hormones unlike in the animils. It's just that the tubing is blocked to keep the tadpoles away.

They might have learned from that experience. When we were on the MAGIC Sept 29 there was a LOT of special Med. Cruise merchandise available in the shops.

John: GG = Gossipgirl. You sent her pictures of TWICE CHARMED. Did she answer? Did you send them as a PM? If so, and if she is banned, she may not have gotten them.

Jan :earsgirl:

I think she has only been banned from posting. If you find a past post she has made and click on her profile, it shows whe has been here recently.

ok I have updated all the lists and sent them over to be put up on the web site. If anyone has not sent me their list go right ahead - I will update and send the list over every day or two. I hope there are people who have not sent in yet as we only have one person so far that has Palo Tea on the 18th from the group - so who else got those?????

So if you haven't please PM me your Palo and excursion confirmed times with dates and times and I will get them added.

Thanks so much!

I went shopping today and bought a new T (no fishes on it though  ) and a pair of capris. Thought I better at least start looking for some new stuff for this cruise. I'd like to lose a little weight before then, so don't want to buy too much yet, but if I don't lose and don't buy anything now I know I'll be really stessed when it gets even closer. Still haven't been to the gym :sad2: but I did have to shovel snow 3 times in the last week, and at an hour each time these were pretty good workouts :yay:

You will not look out of place. Mine are not floor length. :thumbsup2

I have a coctail length dress I plan on wearing one of the formal nights.

Princess Costumes are seen at Formal Night. Does DD-11 have a princess dress?

I've been reading on the main forum about the missing fish extender and magnets.

Have any of you brought your decorations in for the night?

On our one and only cruise, we had a magnet travel several doors down. We were able to retrieve it . I did keep it on the inside of the door for a day, but repositioned it the last night.

We've never had a probelm with our door magnets but each one is just a bit personalized - hopefully making it not so attractive to "borrow"!

Nordstrom's is getting there summer things in March. :thumbsup2
