I have a strange question that I'm sure has been answered somewhere in these posts but I can't figure it out so here goes! It looks like you guys have some things planned on the first page of this thread, do you already have specific times in mind? I know a lot of you already planned excursions and other things and we will be able to soon. I'm not sure when I should make them because I wanted to be involved in some of the group activities. And it looks like you need someone to lead the poker, what does that entail? We want to play but don't really know what to do. Would we make the rules or is there a standard thing that all Disney Cruisers do? And he is worried that the ship won't let us bring our chips on board. Does anyone know any of these things? I need to have something planned because I'm not sure if I can stay up all night on day 75 like you guys did!!!!!!

Oh and on a different note, has anyone used the H2O products that are on bored. I know the reviews are good but my hair is really thick and frizzy and I need a good conditioner. Should I bring my own?

Are you a won't book outside excursion person? I'd book the zipline on your own. If you really don't want to do that then go check cruisecritic. I think you can walk or take a short cab ride to the Krystal Resort and that they have stopped charging for day use. You could enjoy the pool and beach, the massages there come recommended and are probably a 1/4 of what DCL charges, have some lunch and walk back to the ship.

The zipline tours are not available to book on your own, at least through the same company that DCL uses. Jessie from the company said there are 2 ships (ours and Carnival Pride) in that day and that all the spots are gone. He also discouraged me from booking outside of Disney even if they had spots available.

Next, I would love to sell you directly, but the thing is that there are two ships in town that day, and between Carnival Pride and the Disney ship they have pre booked all the spaces for our Outdoor Adventure. So, your best bet is to work with the ship, and I will keep my fingers crossed that you will be able to do the tour. It is always best to book with the ship so in case anything should happen, for example the ship does not come in on time, you would be covered for your tour.

Nope, I want to have high tea in first week, never got it as I took the last day on 23 or 24 May at 3 pm, I am thinking to cancel it cos dont like the time too close for my meals at early sitting.

Got the Brunch Palo at 11 am I am happy with it. It is on 24 May last day to filling up no worries about clothes

Weird thing about Scott and I though...I didn't book it for myself and Lisa tried to book it for us and it told her I was booked already. I'll take it but I found it weird.

Angie, Dennis and I are doing the Town Tour and Diver in ACA, that is a 4-4.5 tour as well.

Angie: very nice letter. Mine was not nearly as nicely worded as yours but I did a spur of the moment letter at 1230am on Saturday, which certainly wasn't one of my better decisions. I haven't heard anything back yet.

Still no Palo brunch for us, and a lousy dinner time, but I figure I can either get it on the 75 day mark or on board. Now that I have my outdoor adventure, I am a very happy girl!!!!

Hi Monica....she posted it to this board......in the locked off area now called #1.....she copied it from an email that she wrote to her DH. It was very detailed and fun to read. Good luck finding it now.....it's lost in never never land. Sorry.

I got a call this weekend about my mask fitting (for the cpap machine (for the newbies)). I get to go this Thursday....not sure how long it will take before I get the machine, but at least the ball is rolling!

Watched the PBS/BBC show "Pride and Prejudice" last night (well, 1st part anyways). I know I don't need to watch it on tv as I have the DVDs but I just looooooooove this rendition.

If you are open to booking outside dcl then there are other reputable options for zip lines. It might not be the same mule, atv, zip combo, but there are good zip line options. The guy I used to book in the past even has a no port no pay policy if the ship doesn't make it. I'd hate for someone to miss out on something they really want to do because DCL has no capacity.

There are many times that excursion vendors are contractually forbidden from booking cruise passengers from a specific line directly.

Got back last night from Chicago for DH's grandmother's funeral . . I have to say I was glad to be back to the sunny 71 degrees of southern California! The snow is so beautiful, but I am just not used to driving in it!

Because I was gone I missed all the hassle of Saturday night - and it sounds like I was the lucky one! I signed in last night and I was able to get the submarine in Aruba, the Mini-Jeep in Acapulco and my hot stone massage. I was bummed because I couldn't get the couples massage in CC or any Palo at all. I'll keep trying or get it on board I guess. I've never had a problem in the past getting reservations on board - even last minute if we decided to try. They were always able to get us in. Not so sure about the CC massages though.

I just got caught up from the last couple of days - a lot going on.
