It's been awhile since I've been on here so excuse me if I ask a repeated question. My DH and I have decided to leave a day early for the cruise and plan on staying in a Disney resort for the night. My question is this, can we get picked up with DME at a DVC resort?

Hi All! I'm so excited about this vacation that I finally had to bite the bullet stop lurking and join in on these boards. This will be my family's second Disney vacation and our first cruise! I'd definitely love to participate in the Fish Extender exchange if someone wants to point me in that direction. I'm crafty and I have two kids (7 and 5) so this would be right up my alley!

We joined this sailing this past weekend. We were scheduled for the last Star Wars sailing, but DH has a meeting that would prevent us from getting to the port in time. It will be just the two of us cruising and it will be my 9th and my DH's 7th cruise. I am looking forward to seeing Tortola and some good shopping in St. Thomas and I do love the sea days, honestly prefer those to being in port.

Anyone know if we will have any special activities on board this sailing, like Pirate night, etc.? I can't remember how to print out an itinerary showing these sorts of things.

Yes you can, but just know that the busses pick up mid to late morning and arrive at the port later than a lot of folks like. We usually rent a car for the two of us and it is often the same cost or cheaper and we can go when we want.

I just noticed that Capain America: Civil War comes out this week. They show first run movies. I wonder if they will show it on the cruise. My son (and let's face it) and I would love to be able to see it espically since Captain America will be on board.

Great, let me know when you do have a sign in for the FE, it's my first time and new at this, but very interested. Once I do get to sign up then I will make my fish extender. If anyone has ideas please share.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

I edited my last post because of the information from the Moderator. After reading the link I think I'm still OK to post this in order to create a FE group on this page. If I'm doing something incorrectly I will gladly fix it.

If you are interested in joining a FE group here I am coordinating one. Please get me the following information: cabin number, number of people, age and gender of kids. I would like to have everything by March 1 in order to give us enough time to get gifts ready.
