Maxpass question for Halloween party

We planing on doing the Halloween party on this trip (we planned on great wolf lodge and universal but kids decided on the party over universal). Since we can get in to both parks after 3. Would Maxpass be worth the $40 if the kids want to do toy story mania, soaring and radiator springs and maybe 1-2 other rides with it? I figured by the time we get in the park radiator springs fast passes will be sold out and I’m worried toy store may be to far out and we woul have to leave the party to ride with one. I’m guessing we won’t need it for rides at Disneyland since lines can be lighter during the party. I know there will be a few musts like haunted mansion splash mountain and big thunder.

I’m also seeing it gives photo pass as well. Do they have areas for photos during the party?

You can see what times are available when you get to the park. There is no maxpass/FP in Disneyland for the party.

So it suggests that they did add MaxPass to the etickets this year.
