Maxpass purchase w/third-party tickets

One of the major discounters has started selling DL tickets at a decent discount. Our plan, however, was to purchase MP with our tickets so that we are ready to roll the moment we walk in on day 1. If we buy these tix from this seller and upload them into the DL app, will we be able to purchase MP in advance of the trip, or will we have to wait until we are there the day of?

It's not a hassle to add MP as you enter the park. I'd go with the cheapest source.

You will have to wait, but it's not difficult if your tickets are loaded on your app. You can load them on the app even if you buy from LMT or GAT. It takes about a minute. And one minute will not kill your FP redemption. This isn't WDW where you need to log on at just the right time or you miss out.

I timed it one day as we were walking in. I'd purchased MP by the time I got to the tunnel, and had my first FP well before I got to Main Street. It takes no time at all and is super-easy. I wouldn't worry about not having it from the get-go.

Does anyone know if you have multiple tickets (say, for all 5 family members), can you purchase MaxPass for all/some at the same time? Or do you have to do each individually?
