MaxPass pricing

i see the MaxPass pricing refers to a $10/day “intro price”. Is that believed to be increasing anytime soon?

We’re going next month so I’m trying to decide whether to buy my tickets on UndercoverTourist for their park hopper discount or full price on the Disney site just to lock in the price of the MaxPass since they allow you to add it on to your ticket purchase.

It’s said ‘introductory price’ since it started, about a year ago. No news yet on it going up only an expectation that it will at some point.

If I was going soon, like next month, I would probably buy the cheaper tickets rather than buy the MP now and just take a chance the MP price won’t increase. You are likely to make more of a savings on the ticket price.

I bought my tickets thru Disney with the MP included recently BUT my trip is JULY 2019!!
I am banking on them probably increasing the cost of entry & MP a lot by the time of my trip next July and wanted the security of having it already locked in.

My guess is it’ll suddenly get more expensive once Star Wars/Galaxy’s Edge opens. No insider knowledge here... just an educated guess & what I’d do if I were Disney. People used to/hooked on Max Pass + crazy crowds = opportunity to make plenty of money

Op I’d get my tickets at last minute travel club. A 5 day hopper is about $50 off.

I got my tix from LMTC last trip but couldn’t find hoppers on their web site when I checked last month...I’ll try them again.
