Maxpass & Photopass question

I was just reading the fine print on the 5 day park hopper with max pass. The fine print said you can only use photopass 1 day.

If that’s true can I buy max pass as needed and then use photopass everyday?

Also where are some of the locations I can get my photo taken?

Anything else I should know about photopass?

I was thinking of buying the maxpass included with the park hopper as it is kind of a pain to stop what I’m doing and buy fast pass once entering the park. But if I only get photopass one day I’m not sure it’s worth it.

You get photopass every day that you also have the MaxPass. It's $10 per day.

People keep expressing this but it can’t be said enough: if you have your CC on file with your Disney account and your CVC memorized, you can literally buy your MP in about 30 seconds while you are walking. You are much better off getting a discount on the park hoppers through someone else than buying through Disney to get this one perk.

Totally agree, and 30 seconds is being generous. I think it can be done quicker that that. When the discount on a LMT ticket is roughly $10 per day it’s like getting MP for free compared with paying full price.

What does LMT stand for again? I haven’t found discount tickets for 5 day hoppers.

Thanks - I must be missing something cause I can only find 1 day ticket with transfer or Transportation tickets available for Disneyland. I think I'm in the right place cause I found Knotts & universal tickets available. It also looks like you need to join ($50) to get the discount. As a solo traveler I don't think I can save enough to warrant the membership. I don't think $370 for 5 days for a park hopper is that bad but totally get how that adds up when your paying that for a family of 4.

I'll do what the other posters have said and just have my CC on file and the cvc number memorized so I can just purchase as needed. I'm not sure I'll need Maxpass all 5 days. I think I found it a pain before because I had to get my card out of my purse to do MaxPass.

What I'm curious about is the Photopass. Do people who have used it liked it?

If you want to pursue the discount, it’s easy to find free codes for membership-there are a lot of threads about that here if you search. You need to then select activities and Anaheim to get to DL tickets.

Get Tickets from LMT, it took us 5 seconds to add max pass on the app after we loaded the lMT tickets
