does anyone know if you can add maxpass to the tickets kids get when they go with the school to perform at Disney?

I cannot imagine you cannot - did you buy the tickets directly from Disneyland and are they showing on your app? If not you can scan them. If you want to know for sure though you can call and ask or chat with them.

I'm curious about this, too.

I chaperoned my son's band field trip last year and the tickets for our kids looked like regular tickets.

We are going in May (my husband and I are not chaperoning though - yay!) and I was hoping to add MaxPass to my son's ticket on the second day so he can at least get one ride on Mission Breakout. We are purchasing tickets through the school so hopefully, we can buy MaxPass, too. But I wasn't really worried about that until now.

We went in the height of summer after maxpass had started last year and waited in line and ride that (awful IMO) (I despise the guardians loved even more than I dislike the other marvel movies) ride just fine. One doesn’t have to pay for the product to ride. Made my kid happy to get in the ride at least.

My friends had no problem adding MP to comp CM tickets one of them had left over from when she worked at WDW.

If it can be added to free tickets, then I'd be fairly certain it can be added to discount school tickets. Just scan into the app and purchase once scanned into the parks. I've yet to hear of anyone who hasn't been able to add MP based on ticket type.

I hear ya, I much prefer Tower of Tower. I don't like ANY Marvel movies, but I love the up & down ride so we are excited to ride as we haven't been since last May and ToT was closed already.

I know my kid *could* wait in line but because it's a school field trip and they are doing a recording clinic for half of the first day and spending the rest of the day at Disneyland. The second day they won't enter DCA until after noon and they will need to get spots for Paint The Night in the evening, so it's a short day. So we wanted to add MaxPass for his second day to make sure he could get at least a ride on RSR and Mission Breakout. My husband and I are adding MaxPass to our tickets just because we want to. I'm sure we could ride everything without MaxPass.
