I seem to be a bit rusty on a lot of rules that seems to have changed, but has DVC imposed maximum stays at certain resorts?

I believe it's anything less than 30 days based on the Florida transient laws. I remember being told about this from a guide when we first bought DVC.

(4)(a) “Public lodging establishment” includes a transient public lodging establishment as defined in subparagraph 1. and a nontransient public lodging establishment as defined in subparagraph 2.
1. “Transient public lodging establishment” means any unit, group of units, dwelling, building, or group of buildings within a single complex of buildings which is rented to guests more than three times in a calendar year for periods of less than 30 days or 1 calendar month, whichever is less, or which is advertised or held out to the public as a place regularly rented to guests.

That's what I thought. Max 30 days. But I just tried to book poly for 10 nights and it said it exceeded max nights....confused.

Were you trying to book a reservation at the 11 month window for your home resort or at the 7 month window for a non home resort? If so, you can only book a maximum of 7 nights initially when the window opens. But then you can book the subsequent night(s) the next day until you book all the nights you want.

Ok. That might have been it. I was booking on the edge of the 7th month mark. Thanks for picking up on that!
