I'm going to the park at a busy time and I've heard talk that once the park reaches Max Capacity no more guests will be allowed in even if they have tickets. So I've been wondering what the max capacity number is? Does anyone know?

However, recently I've heard talk that Universal has no max capacity. Is that true? If so it sounds a bit dangerous and sounds like it's going to be super uncomfortable if their are tons of people there when I go.

I don't know what the actual number is but I can tell you being there when it's super crowded is NOT fun. Just like any theme park it's wall to wall people and the lines are too long for you to enjoy yourself. I don't go to any local park when it's that crowded but I will make an exception for 6/18 and the opening of WWoHP. But after that I won't be back until HHN in the fall.

Yes, all public places have a maximum capacity, I don't know what the number is either. It has to do with the Fire Department determining how many people can be there safely, and to be let out of safety if there were to be an emergency.

the number is extremely variable for both the parks due to various reasons:

1-sound stages can add numbers to the capacity
2-TM's count as well
3-if areas of the park are open
4-if certain queue lines are open
5-if the parks are connected by cross over paths
6-weather
7- if attractions are open or closed

Are the parks connected by cross over paths? The only way to park hop that I could see on the map is to walk back to CityWalk and then over to the other park. Does anyone know if a quicker way exists?

There isn't a cross over path you can use everyday.. but there has been one open for past HHNs, and I believe for special events you can transfer parks (like HHN, I heard you can wait near Suess to enter it).

True, but if they really want to pack the parks they will open it up. (its is rare to see it during normal day operation)
