Max capacity of MK parties

Does anyone know what the maximum number of MNSSHP/MVMCP tickets sold when the parties are sold out?
Also, how does that number compare to the maximum capacity of the MK on any regular day?

My assumption is that the party max capacity is less than the overall max capacity. That would make the crowds during the party less, and more enjoyable for party goers.
On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the numbers are the same, so as to maximize profit for Disney.

Any thoughts?

I'm sure it is less. I've heard around 30-40k instead of 80k at peak times. But I don't know for sure. I'd love to hear a more reliable answer myself.

I have also assumed they may have no exact sell-out number that is equal for every night, but that it is a flexible target depending on expected crowds and park staffing. But this is just my speculation that I would also love to have verified.

Agree with PP. In recent years the number appears to be between 25K and 35K. You won't get a more exact answer from Disney itself. Overall capacity is likely near 100K, but that's another guarded secret. I believe max capacity for parties is the same for all parties over a season and does not vary from night to night, but that is only a guess on my part.

Sold-out parties consistently include reports of very crowded party activities, and very little crowds at the attractions themselves.
