MAW Trip of a Lifetime....1st time to WDW! -Beach Update!

wow, a great itinerary!!! looks like you are hitting a lot of different areas, don't forget to take a break in the parks each day....find a bench, get a mickey bar or popcorn and people watch....this is one of our favorite things to do...you never know what you might see

Megan and I did the sillouettes on our trip to DLR last April together, they are really cute!

Thank you all.... Happy St Patty's Day... here in O'Neill the little town goes crazy this weekend..... everything turns green..... don't know if we'll go to the parade.... but it'll be a great weekend to be Irish!

People watching is fun... and I definitely plan to take breaks... expecially use the lounges... if there are churros I'm getting one...! Popcorn is a fave too!

Yeah I debated that one... but I figured since it was a small one, it wouldn't be a prob.... and I hate to lose their business... so maybe it'll help me to sleep because I'll be tired.... of course as a kid I never could go to sleep the night before going to DL..... so I don't know!

I love the silouettes.... and they are not too expensive either... one of the few things that remain at DL from the old shops...so many of the artisan shops have changed....... Hope things are well on your end!

Folsom 6/03 - 4/04
Thousand Oaks 4/04 - 8/05
Salida (Modesto) 8/05 - 7/10

so we did LOTS of trips to DLR over the years in CA, esp from TO since we were so close, went in just for Sunday's alot with our AP's.

I don't sleep the night before either....love that commercial "I'm too excited to sleep" that's me!! we have to be up and over to my mom's by 6am for our flight at 8:30am, at least there's no traffic on Sat going to Seattle!
we are flying first class this trip....got a great deal....so want to have some time to experience the first class lounge at the airport too!

I was born in Orange and raised in Corona so I spent my life in those areas..I also attended college in costa Mesa...and I lived in Perris for the last few years before I moved here...My friend Carole lives in El Monte....

First class will be nice. I hope they give you the best treatment! a great deal makes it even better! It'll be a good trip for you both... going to a place with a lot of good memories... my two most memorable times at DL as a kid are my dad taking me on Dumbo and being so scared of the Haunted mansion my mom stayed out with me while everyone else went on...I was 3 or so....make new memories and hold them with the old and have a great trip!

Only time for a Quick note ( I am cooking dinner). Praying Kaleb will be okay and the cramps aren't a sign of anything horrible!! I will be back.

Hi Judy....dinner sounds good....making some here myself...Kaleb wanted meatloaf...so meatloaf mashed potatoes and peas it is (the only way I can get them to eat peas is with potatoes)....

I am hoping too...His teacher has been noticing some restlessness in school lately which could be a med side effect or just ready to get into spring.... hope it's the latter!
I hope everyone is well on your end...
our first crocuses came out today...purple ones... so I'm ready for nice weather... tired of the house!

so looking forward to first class....since this is our ultimate WDW trip, thought it would be a fun way to start and end our trip....probably never get to do it again, so plan on enjoying it to the fullest!
my first DLR was at 12, remember getting extra "E" tickets from a friend of my parents who hadn't used them all up...my mom didn't take a lot of photos either my dad got dizzy on the tea cups, HM and Pirates was a fav ever back then!
Megan's first trip was at 22 months, so mostly characters and fantasyland and toon town for that trip!
I cherish all our happy memories with Jim and look forward to creating more with Megan and myself on our new journey!

Man this thread moved fast in just over a day, lol! I'm glad Kaleb is feeling better, I hope his blood work is okay too. Love the new big gives, such great clothes. The kids look like they loved them!! Great calendar! It must feel so real now that the official countdown is on, eh?
