Maui or Kaui this Thanksgiving?

We just became members and are still trying to figure this thing out so any help would be appreciated.

We just got back from WDW and joined DVC. We purchased 250 points at AKV and we received 160 bonus points to use before the end of the year. We'd like to put in a search with II to exchange for a 2BR either in Maui (Kaanapali area) or Kauai for Thanksgiving 2008 time frame.

What are our chances of getting a match?

We've been to Maui before and stayed at the Embassy suites property and loved it. There's also a Marriott and a Westin in the same area that looks nice. Any preferences?

We've never been to Kauai but would love to go. Any tips on where to request there?

At this point of the year, trading for Thanksgiving very, very doubtful. Even if you were putting your request 24 months out, getting a 2 bedroom well be hard.

I'd say 5% or less for a 1 BR, maybe 20% for a studio.
