Thank you, thank you, thank you......I've bookmarked that site for future reference. As it turns out the character's name was changed in some editions (ours) and so we NEVER would have found it.

I had the same problem. My class just finished reading the book and then I saw an illustrated story book from the movie. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out who Maugrin was! My book says 'Fenris Ulf'. I'ld like to ask the publisher why one is any better than the other.
