If we were at a point in a relationship where you would need to worry about STDs, you better not need to see proof that I didn't have any. I imagine though if you were the type to ask upfront for "papers" you wouldn't be getting a second date anyway

I dont see the big deal. I mean its likely that on your first go you will just use other protection. I see the papers thing as more of a hey we are not going to be with other people and want to make sure you are std free, hiv free, so please get tested and we can forgo the rubbers. It would not insult me in the least bit.

Now if this was something asked before it got to the intimate moment of the evening might be a little weird. lol
